My only grievance with this drama is the way they have changed FSG's character- surely a noble character like him would want to do good for his people and wouldn't be so naive to think that him not harming citizens intentionally and seeking revenge on his mother's killers is sufficient, and now he can whisk off with his heroine to the countryside for a life of peace. He is going to leave his country in the hands of incompetent people (his spineless brother or his delulu sister) and risk being taken over by Jinxiu?

I am starting to think that they stuck to the detail of the SML being an eunuch from the novel. Either that or man is a villain with certain morals- like not taking advantage of the crazy princess.

The scenes with FSG and his dad make me teary. You can see where the father is coming from, he has painstakingly built this kingdom and doesn't want it to fall into wrong hands.. On the other hand, FSG's mother is right, he deserves to decide his own future. 😭 Hug it out already! My god, this angst and pain.

Seeing a bruise on the Prime Minister’s face gives me great joy

What I loved about today's episodes is that we got to see XJS's backstory and the political set up of Jinxiu. So far, the writers have done a good job giving believable back stories for the characters- nobody is good/bad, just because, or exist as caricatures. Also, FSG 😍😍😍 if looks could kill.. his glares and sneers have been on point.

I don't know what version of this drama they are watching. Li Qin is gorgeous! I started watching this drama because I love CZY, but I now have a crush on Li Qin too- top notch visuals and acting! Their chemistry has been such an unexpected pleasant surprise!

The ML was surrounded by a dozen armed men in that scene. Was she expecting that just because her place is a place of truce, he would lie down and be chopped up 🤣

That sneer of Feng Suige in Episode 12.. 👄 Chen Zheyuan never ceases to amaze me.. Uff. He has infused so much swagger to this character.

He never fails to amaze me with his acting skills, its all so nuanced and his ability to generate chemistry with other characters is 💯

I am so grateful to Fated hearts for giving us this fiery hot Feng Suige! Chen Zheyuan has never looked and acted so lethal, and I am digging it.
