Why is Lusi doing this to herself? She has started acting like an old woman who has no job. She just sits on live…
Clearly, you’re projecting onto Zhao Lusi, because here you’re with this desperate attempt for attention. She can change her appearance as many times as she wants and not once does she have to consider if whether or not We will like it. It’s her Hair, her appearance and her choice!
Same here. I’m pretty sure Wang Shuo will show up in this episode — probably right at the end. And even if he pops up a few minutes earlier, I still don’t think Chi Cheng and Wu Suowei will realize he’s back until episode 15.
With all the changes they made from the novel I wonder if they’ll change the break up scene cause if I hear…
I’m really glad someone brought this up — I’ve been thinking about it too. In the novel, Wu Suowei always planned to marry a woman, so when Chi Cheng asks if he ever loved him, Wu Suowei’s answer makes sense in that context.
But in the show, their relationship feels much more genuine. Wu Suowei is clearly in love with Chi Cheng, so a sudden “I never loved you” wouldn’t really make sense. That’s why I think the emotional weight will come from something else — not the absence of love, but the betrayal.
In episode 12, during the bed scene where they talk about lying, Chi Cheng says everything Wu Suowei did was still “manageable.” Even though he was in the dark about the scheming — which he clearly dislikes — he still felt like he was in control. He wasn’t being completely played.
But now, Wu Suowei’s actions have crossed that line. If the truth comes out and Chi Cheng realizes he was unknowingly manipulated the whole time, he’s going to feel like a fool — like a pawn in someone else’s game. That loss of control, that sense of being used, is what’s going to hit the hardest.
I’m just venting here, so please don’t come for me—I’m not trying to start anything. I don’t know if the decision to postpone Episodes 11 & 12 was made last-minute this weekend or if it’s something that was already decided as far back as Tuesday. Either way, I really hate how we only found out a day before the episode was supposed to air.
On top of that, not knowing when the show will resume is driving me up the wall. Sure, people are guessing July 21st, but at this point it feels like we won’t get confirmation until the weekend—again.
All this uncertainty, speculation, miscommunication, and just the lack of clear info is beyond frustrating. The whole situation is a mess and it’s seriously testing my patience.
I watched this when it first aired and was so disappointed to see people didn’t like it. It feels like it started gaining more recognition a year or two ago, and I’m so happy it’s finally getting the attention it deserves because it’s such a great drama
What an interesting way to kick off this drama—no warning at all, huh? But seriously, I really enjoyed the first episode and can’t wait to see where it goes.
The constant back-and-forth with Jaemin and Su Hyeon is giving me whiplash and a massive headache. They haven’t even done anything to me, and I want a restraining order! 😂
i feel like if suhyeon came back like the sweet person he used to be then he easily could've won da on back, if…
Su Hyeon never would have ended up with Daon, even if he hadn’t shown aggressive behavior. The well was poisoned against him long ago—thanks to Jaemin. When Daon saw Su Hyeon beat up that guy, he witnessed a side of him he had never seen before. That can be terrifying, especially since Su Hyeon had never displayed violence of any kind toward or around Daon—at least not in the past.
Someone, anyone, please explain to me—what the hell is wrong with Jaemin? He deliberately orchestrated Dasul’s injury, and his actions at the end of today’s episode were beyond uncalled for—they were downright sick.
Damn! the last scene. I can't think straight. The "please don't go Daon". (And this the first time SeongHyeon…
It was almost funny watching them call each other idiots. Like, you’re both adult men still chasing after a crush from your youth to the point that you’ve decided to rekindle a fake relationship you created back then, just so neither of you can date the guy you both like—who happens to be the same guy.
I initially thought Jaemin’s character was very confusing. I believed his feelings for Daon were fake and that he only wanted people like Su Hyeon and even Daon to think they were real because he enjoyed how Daon’s feelings stroked his ego. But the end of today’s episode really cleared a lot up for me. I was surprised to learn that Daon actually liked Su Hyeon first, and Jaemin might have poisoned the well.
While I can agree that Jaemin interfering with Daon and Su Hyeon’s potential relationship was wrong, I think it ended up being for the better. At the end of the day, Su Hyeon is a violent person, and it’s not clear that Jaemin knew that and was trying to protect Daon. I don’t think Jaemin was, and I won’t give him that credit.
