It depends on someone's taste in dramas. If you're mostly a TTEOTM type of viewer then SL is definitely a boring ride.

2 thirds of the drama are dedicated to building their relationship, friendships, values and ethics so as to make the last 10 eps more impactful and meaningful. It's all about their relationship and it gets angtsy after ep30, so if you already feel it's dragging maybe it's not for you.

Wow, he actually told her of his doubts about her shifu. Well done writers!No "oh I don't want to hurt her, let me find out first" bullshit. He treats her as equal. And she didn't go berserk for suspecting her shifu. Let's see how it goes

We all know who the bad guy is and I didn't expect the detour in ep21. Are 3 eps really enough for the story to wrap?

The whole drama has My Demon vibes, even the sigil part, but in the firt episode you also get the water arch!

It's so engaging I'm quite surprised. I binged watched 16 eps. Though it follows a pattern when it comes to the thriller part of it, there are some revelations I didn't expect and I got hooked. I'm curious to see how it will end.

The best is yet to come! From ep30 onwards you'll get why the fist episodes were so focused on their relationship

I agree. Torturing her bc he has her best interests at heart is just another form of manipulation. He 's no better than the people he's trying to protect her from.(If that's the case.) He's paving the way to a SE

The special fx team went all out! Very nice drama, kind of messed up plot with all the reductions due to the episode length, but all in all I thoroughly enjoyed it.

It was great until the end. It deserved a better ending than the silly cliffhanger, that was so unnecessary.

Ι think I pinpointed the problem that had me pause the drama. It's not the chemistry per se.It's the fact that the ML has lost his entire family, and instead of watching a man tortured by improper feelings for a woman he doesn't trust, whilst grieving and plotting revenge, we got a lovestruck puppy from the get go. The actor is great, he was magnificent in LGIEF, and a tortured hero suits him so well. It's a pity bc the potential was there.
