I really shouldn't be saddened by it but it amazes me how they're ready to kill the goose with the golden eggs. People watch such beautiful renditions to forget about their problems. They might as well watch History Channel if it all goes downhill. Kdramas and Jdramas are right around the corner ready to offer consolation. They really should rethink their policies.

If the drama is true to the adaptation what's the problem?Also, it's been proven that in the ancient world and middle ages wealthy men -even in China- wore make up as a status symbol. I hope this act won't mean the end of historical cdramas

I prefer the version where the puppet wins the girl. And maybe like Pinocchio he'll get a real body. I don't want him to merge with the Dragon Lord. I want him to be his own self. He's cute and silly and playful. It's fun to watch him

Ep6 Did I miss sth? Did she forget he had already taken the doll? What was all that "Oh no" where's the doll reaction at the boat?

Oh my... Xiaowei's crying his heart out, the dragon guy's blue aura is being disobedient and the young fox is "Vogue, strike a pose!". I laughed so hard I had to rewind to see what was happening. So hunter guy turned into petal guy. Interesting

Story is interesting.The butterfly demon is hot-I guess no redemption arc. The young ones' love is silly and not that much so far, the older ones' chemistry feels more real. There are some visual discrepancies though. The "come here" on ep6 didn't feel necessary, not to mention the whole getting the doll vibe in the middle of chaos. It undermined the whole "WTF is happening" momentum. Also, creepy wooden dolls?? Whaaat? Things are getting crazier by the minute!

Please tell me the young one is putting on an act with her voice. It's so eerie. It reminds me of some old videogames where there's a spirit haunting a place and you get this inhuman voice reiterating how it came to its demise, itself and the whole world, only to realise at the end that it was a computer voice running a suicide mission to destroy any vestige of humanity. Talk about trauma
