He wasn't diminished. He was consistent throughout the drama. His judgement was professional and he defended his feelings till the end. I don't see showing emotion as a defect. He was always passionate about how he feels and he never strayed from it, be it seeking justice or being in love. And so was RSB. She was adamant about who she is, she never promised what she couldn't give. He knew he was a duke's son before promising to become a matrilocal husband.

At the top of my head: Melody of Golden Age-female melts the cold ML's heart, especially after he remembers their childhood bond. Prisoner of beauty -for her family's safety she tames the enemy enduring a half sexual attack(cdrama the novel is more graphic).Every single short cdrama has an FL that loves the ML unconditionally even though she's treated like trash. Almost all cdrmas long/short have forgiving FL's showing how loyal they are to their ML's.
