Ready for the evil ML!

Sang Qi gets his moment-quite touching. The Jade Palace scene gave me mixed feelings. And now, drumroll:we get the grey 2ML, the rightful wisp-of-an-ancient-god ML and a literally GREY-evil ML 2.0 and what more can a girl ask??!!

Back together

Our MLs are back together, FL is thankfully still playful(though we're robbed of their kisses) and hasn't turned into an awful prude, and our 2ML is getting darker by the minute but damn he nails the role, every second of it!

I love it how she accepts her fate without overt drama and hysterics. The actress though very young (and she looks it) is truly composed for ther age

While our leads are slowly warming to each other and the ML is hellbent on brewing a vegetable potion(at the expense of the follicles of poor plant-demons), Fuyi is into his secret and I was never so annoyed at the intrusion of prying eyes before. Let our leads have their special moments together peeping-Tom!

Another Benzuo another hot demon! Loved his decision to face gis worst self to protect her! Esther Yu has a thing for bad boys turned softies!

The Go game

I laughed so hard at the madeup go game! Her exhilaration sounded so genuine and the ML's stubbornness to win had him constantly defeated!

Hottie!

Damn, the end of the ep had we swooning for the ML!!! Nicely done! And the fx are really good, I can't wait for their first kiss!

I started it out of a whim bc I liked the trailer a few months ago. I was btw that and the Pearl girl. It's so funny! And the plot moves forward fast enough for my taste, so it's the perfect rebound cdrama after the emotional damage and constant heartpain that was Kill me Love me. I still can't think about the last episode without crying

Death becomes her

YQ prince and his shenanigans got her faking her drath and MJ is flirting with necrophilia. Ready to meet her on the other side he is saved in the nick of time by his bodyguard. Along comes Pistachio Prince missing a hand to see her one last time. MJ beats him up and ML is taken away by her friends. I loved the fact MJ kept his distance respecting her newfound id. Maturity comes at a cost

Cry me a river

The whole episode had me in an emotional vice constantly tearing up. I still can't get over Zigu's demise. And though LM's psycho love annoys me, she managed to express really heartfelt emotion. So I'll allow it. By the end of the episode I was bawling my eyes out. The short what if respite in fact made it worse.

Don't repeat my mistake. Watch it, cry but reserve your hate for a couple of minutes. Thank me later

Powerful realistic scene

Ok first of all, the snake bit is not by any means realistically depicted. The leakage scene though is one of the most realistic so far in cdrama, poignant and sad. It doesn't mince "words" and it brings forth the ML's psyche and his insecurities.
