The best part was..unlike other chinese dramas, the adult versions of them were finally the real adults and not just them with gray hair and beard. That is truly appreciable. The age of each actor matched well with their roles. Also, the acting of even adult leads was breathtaking. Each and every actor played the role with their blood and soul. That's absolutely certain

Solid spot on 10 on 10 guys...what are you waiting for if you haven't binged it yet. It will be a timeless classic. 12 episodes were way less. I could not bear the moment it ended. I wanted more of tang xun and haitang in 2026, exploring the world and snowfall, and everything. Atleast, a boat venture of theirs, reunion with cha and hao. Oh god, this drama was absolute satisfaction. Even the thought, a mere reflection of scenes in myind is giving me butterflies. Gonna rewatch it again and again until all the dialogues are memorised by heart. I guess i won't stop even after that. Such a tonic💜

That drama as well is pretty interestsing, even acting of leads and supporters didn't disappoint, It even has something new than all other xianxia troupes. i dont understand, even if a watcher does not like the drama, he should atleast give a convincing reason. he just wrote overacting, speechless. He probably wanted attention and flood his comment with replies.

About documents and all, there's no one in their family who could tell, even in hometown, not maany people lived, yu zhiyong got into jail when yu Nian wasnt even born, and it's a drama right, people forget faces of how they looked like, when he came from prison after so many years, they just accepted tang yixun as yu zhiyong. And they are so poor, not even permanent labour, he even specifically mentioned he is a temporary labourer, getting wage each day. Of such persons, no ID or docs are checked, they just pick whosoever gets the work done at cheaper rates. Even Yu nian said, she never checked the ID of his father. OFC who will check specifically ID of parents, will you check?

Oh my god..i just couldn't watch ep 8 in one go..emotions were so high and real. I was cried so many times. I had to stop the episode to clear my vision and get the strength to watch them again. But i sincerely wish, this time lovers don't suffer or part ways at the end. They have missed out alot already. Both are longing definitely. This drama, i started with zero expectations, turns out to be my most loved. People are crazy i guess, why are ratings so low, even dropped. Creators please don't end up with a sad story. It's too too painful to watch. They literally grew old😭😭 just watching each other from afar. I hope they meet soon and reunite, i wish Ye Hai Tang is still alive.

I have seen many people complementing the costumes..but the reality, this is kind of mid 1920s or chinese republican era, and in all these kind of c dramas whethe mini or main, have same costumes. Some dramas have even better. But yes, this drama also has classy clothing
