The guy in the last scene is Yai Kanthorn, he is the grandson of Lek (Yai's younger brother) and the 3rd and current reincarnation of Khun Yai. He gained his memories as Khun Yai (1927) and Commander Yai (1700's) when he saw Jom's picture renovating the old house. But even though he hasn't saw the picture yet, he already has fragments of dreams from his past life since he was born and felt that there is always missing in his life.

Commander Yai's plot in 1700's ties every loose ends in the story that's why it left some questions from people who haven't read the novel. Sadly due to budget limitations, it was yet to announce on when they will produce the 2nd part of the novel. But the director and the whole cast are willing to reprise their roles if ever it will push through.

help what happend to the ratings wasnt it 8.5 TT??
2 reasons, 1st is some bitter and jealous fans from other ship intentionally created duplicate accounts to pull down the rating cause IFYLITA is winning several awards (and more awards to come soon). 2nd reason is some people just didn't like the harsh realities that the series depicts which leave a sour taste in their mouth, thus rating it lower.

Is this really the highest rated bl in MDL now? I’m surprised by it’s high rating actually, and I’ve been…
Give it a try! Hope you'll love it like most of us do.

I understand that the show is unfiltered and bold on portraying these ugly truths about the 1920's and not everyone will like it (cause truth hurts right? but it's history, even the murdered lesbian was a big news back then that they incorporate it in this show), what I don't understand is you rated it 1.0 when you didn't even bothered finishing it (I saw your list that you drop it in Episode 10).

If you are asking yourself why you bothered watching this, I also wondered why you bothered writing a review and rating it 1.0 lol. This looks like a SCHEME to pull down the rating of the highest BL of all time. You drop the show before it ended and has the audacity to rate it that low. Seems ridiculous and doesn't make any sense.

Has anyone seen the cut and uncut versions? What does the uncut version contain that the cut does not? I'm not…
Uncut has more depth and details of the situation and some scenes compared to the cut. If you enjoyed the cut version, you will like the uncut more.

Casually good for a historical BL but felt bored from the lengthy episodeNot a big fan of time travel as the root…

The 2nd part of the novel, Commander Yai's plot in 1700's ties every loose ends in the story that's why it left some questions from people who haven't read the novel (including the connection of Yai to plumeria tree). Sadly due to budget limitations, they haven't produce the 2nd part of the novel YET. But the director and the whole cast are willing to reprise their roles if ever it will push through.

Thx. But I can only review what I see not knowing of the novel at all and that's what it should be for all viewers…
I understand no problem about your review. Though I have to explain it to you so that you can at least get to understand what is going on. Anyway I hope the 2nd season will happen as most people says that it has a much better plot than the 1st novel.

How was Khun Yai in 2023? Like is he a ghost?🤣 I kinda guessed from spoilers I saw before I watched the series…
In the novel after Jom disappeared in 1927, he went back to 1700's in Commander Yai's era. But in the Season 1 of the series, they went directly to the last parts of the 2nd novel which is the present day.

The ending was clearly explained in the novel. The guy in the last scene is Yai Kanthorn, he is the grandson of Lek (Yai's younger brother) and the 3rd and current reincarnation of Khun Yai. He gained his memories as Khun Yai (1927) and Commander Yai (1700's) when he saw Jom's picture.

Commander Yai's plot in 1700's ties every loose ends in the story that's why it left some questions from people who haven't read the novel (including Khun Yai's love with Plumeria which is connected to Jom and Commander Yai). Commander Yai is also the reason why Jom met him in his past incarnations, which is again will be explained in the 2nd novel or in this case the 2nd Season. Sadly due to budget limitations, they have not produced the 2nd part of the novel YET, but I believe they are planning to. They just need the budget, sponsors, and investors. But the director and the whole cast are willing to reprise their roles if ever it will push through.

Hope my reply answers your questions.

Yes, Lek's daughter (youngest daughter if I remember it right) is Yai Kanthorn's biological mother. He was originally living in overseas and ever since he was young, he felt that something is always missing and he don't know what or who it is. When he went back to Thailand and saw Jom's picture renovating the old house, he remember his past-life memories especially when he arrived in that house.

We will also see the original cast in the 2nd part (some of them are warriors in 1700's era) so yes, let's hope Season 2 will happen. They also haven't mentioned yet the significance of the plumeria tree since it is connected originally to Commander Yai and Jom. That era is the origin of everything and this time travel.

I'm glad you love this amazing masterpiece.

slow but a solid 9.5/10 for me. One of the best BLs of 2023. I ended up balling at the last episode. I still don't…

I can't wait to read the novel, and get some of those details. The drama ending was a little rushed, but it still…
Same here. My friends and I will re-watch the show soon haha. Another way is if they will win those nominations from different awards, some nominations needs fan votes and that's where we support them so investors will notice the show. I think another challenge is the limited platform that the show aired.
