Honestly same. HSF has exactly the plot i want in a BL. I know Bad Buddy is the equivalent to HSF but there’s not enough hatred for me. The friends to enemies to lovers trope is so top tier i wish a company was smart enough to produce a BL like this

Even if they don’t explicitly say SaintShin are in love, the dialogue speaks for itself. We’re just gonna have to settle for the heavy gay coding since I don’t think they’ll change the script from the OG.

Like I had to remind someone who said they were waiting for SaintShin to become lovers that this is NOT A BL. It’s marketed as a bromance and it’s an ensemble cast so the supporting characters will get some story and screen time as well since they have to stretch this out for 16 eps

It went down to a 7.9 now but tbh it needs to be even lower. The plot is almost nonexistent and they’re just remembering about it in the last 2 eps so they mostly wasted time with fillers. Not to mention Leng’s awkward crying ☠️

Same. Unless they give them a Last Twilight-esque or Not Me-esque type of series then they should stay away from BL and continue to serve us top tier “bromance”
I mean can you imagine them doing a masterpiece like HSF only to downgrade to a low budget engineering BL? That would be a huge insult to their talents.

I’m not a OhmNanon shipper but you have to admit Leng needs a lot more acting classes because his crying scenes look so fake and awkward compared to someone as experienced as Ohm. Leng just frowns and makes a constipated face and you see no tears dropping from his eyes which is so hard to watch. It’s not about people being stuck on OhmNanon and Bad Buddy but it’s valid constructive criticism about Leng’s lack of acting skills. That’s all.

EXACTLY. This is my first time seeing Sky and that one scene where Saint broke his vow to not use violence after 3 years after hurting Shin gave me chills. His face was drenched with tears and you saw how he was ready to kill for Shin. As for Nani, I knew him since F4 but he didn’t have a big role so I was pleasantly surprised by how good of an actor he is. His eyes are so expressive and says a million words. They both deserve to win awards for HSF i’m so serious. GMMTV struck gold with them and they kinda took the internet by storm.

Well to say I’m disappointed is an understatement. First of all the title doesn’t fit the overall vibe of the series. There’s too many filler episodes and they lost the plot along the way. Leng’s acting choices bugs me. I know he’s a rookie but he just frowns in his crying scenes and can’t let any tears drop out of his eyes which is cringy to watch. Even Tu had proper crying scenes in F4 when she debuted. Leng needs more acting classes before taking on a lead role next to someone as experienced as Ohm.
Overall, I thought this series was gonna have a darker and more thrilling vibe and was really hyped after watching the trailer but it turned into another GMMTV flop.

If y’all haven’t watched High School Frenemy yet I highly recommend!!! SkyNani’s chemistry outdoes majority of actual BLs which is crazy. There’s also a proper plot and lots of action/violent scenes if you’re into that.
