Is this drama honestly so good to receive the highest rating on MDL at 9.2 and sit atop the MDL ranking of #1…
yes because i’ve never been more invested in a kdrama before in my life & i was even in a huge slump before watching this. it has everything you could want youth, family, friendships, romance, comedy, hard hitting angst, and the osts are so so good. not to mention the rookie actors are some of the most talented people in the industry today. i found myself laughing and crying at the same time in almost every single episode which never happens to me. they definitely have a bright future ahead of them.
this deserves to be on netflix global instead of those mid dramas. look how little promo twinkling watermelon had yet it went viral for the cast, acting, storyline, and chemistry? talent wins at the end of the day.
the preview for the finale… if yichan really did lose his hearing then why would eungyeol wanna stay in 1995? either timeline yichan is deaf either way so he might as well go back to the future… unless somehow yichan didn’t go deaf but getting hit by a car was still his fate
if the finale is generally good and doesn’t break my heart too much then i’ll change my 9/10 to 10/10 bc this is my most comfort kdrama i’ve ever watched. no lie i’ve never been this invested before and i had fun tuning in every week
