On When Oranges Fall 3 days ago
The ratings is way too low for me. I’m not really watching Thai BLs anymore or when I do, I end up dropping it but I’m really enjoying this one. The color grading, the cinematography, the OST, the nostalgic “coming of age” vibes. I personally prefer high school romance over the university ones. It just hits differently. I originally intended to watch this only for KenPaul bc I never watched AlmondProgress series before but I’ve heard of them so this is my first time seeing their chemistry and they’re really cute so far. I’m really liking them too (Progress reminds me a lot of Fourth for some reason) And I think there’s supposed to be a 3rd couple here? I don’t recognize their faces at all so they must be new.

Workshop day 1
No, it was an April Fool’s joke. Java confirmed on his tiktok live just the other day they haven’t began production yet and it’s gonna take awhile longer.

Has anyone else noticed, that "Head 2 Head" (2025) is the same plot as "I Saw You In My Dream"…
Yeah but I still prefer H2H over this by a mile. Even with some awkward/bad direction from New Siwaj, H2H was still more fun and the cast’s chemistry literally is so much better and carried the whole show (Sea, Keen, Surf, Java, JJ, the 2 moms)

Even with the second couple, despite being toxic, SurfJava’s story was more fleshed out and had way more development than Surf and his previous partner here. They only had about 5 secs of screentime every episode then started dating so I couldn’t feel the tension or chemistry and it didn’t feel as rewarding.

I think they’re just cursed atp. Their peers from the same generation as them are literally getting more and…
The BL industry is so oversaturated now to the point it’s hard for older CPs to maintain or even increase their popularity. It’s almost the same as Kpop when you think about it. Many older groups get left behind for the newly fresh debuted groups.

JD’s CEO series for 2026 looks really cliche and office romance aren’t my cup of tea but IDK how the Thai audience feels about it. It seems like the type of cringe fluff they’d be into but if they still can’t attract local fans after this series then there’s no hope left for them. Now, IDK if it’ll affect how valuable they’re seen to the company with just international fans carrying them… then again FK are in the same boat as them with having more international fans than Thai fans. I wonder if FK’s dragon series will attract locals because I think it’s gonna be heavy on Thai culture.

Both JD and EM were popular during their prime (Star In My Mind, 1000 Stars) but over the years with more couples debuting and skyrocketing to fame, they’re getting left behind. Ironically, GMMTV held a joint concert for PPW, JD, EM after the success of all their series but only PPW has advanced out of the 3 now. PPW is on the same level as GF where they can have a full concert at Impact Arena every year because their fancon sold out for 3 DAYS and Me and Thee increased their popularity since then.

oh JoongDunk are going out sad man. 4 series but none of them was ever truly a hit 😩
I think they’re just cursed atp. Their peers from the same generation as them are literally getting more and more famous while JoongDunk are still struggling and don’t have a solid Thai fanbase yet even after 4 years. They were able to sell out only Day 1 of their fancon but Day 2 is still not sold out after DAYS. Meanwhile, ForceBook sold out both days in only a few hours. Even newer CPs can sell out in MINUTES in local events

Who tf are SurfJava? BOC should buy this show and give it to one of their couples
SeaKeen weren’t popular when they debuted as a main couple in Only Boo so what’s your point?
SurfJava have been gaining popularity since H2H ended and they only blew up even more after MuTeLuv. GMMTV doesn’t give CPs their own solo fanmeets as quickly as they did with SurfJava so the demand is there. Plus, they have all the acting talent and chemistry to carry a series all on their own. When they got casted in Roommate Chaos, H2H was still airing and they weren’t as popular as they are now.

I’m still so sad GMMTV missed the opportunity to sell merch from the muteluv anthology, specifically SurfJava’s arc because Oh’s legendary pants, leopard-print bandaids, the plushie from the temple fair could’ve all been merch. Heck, Oh’s pants alone could’ve made GMMTV a fortune 💰

Sorry, I have to say it, but I love how their kissing gets better every time they do it. Their kissing scenes…
I had the same thought. SurfJava admitted they weren’t close when they started filming this series since they only knew each other a few months but they got closer during the process and H2H is their latest work together. You can tell they were more comfortable in their kissing/NC scenes but the director (you know the one) failed them because they both said their chemistry got better in H2H but sadly, bad directing and weird/awkward angles

10/ 10This is how you keep a story simple but engaging. I loved it specially cause they didn't know eachother…
THIS!!!
I hate when it’s supposedly “enemies to lovers” but it’s not really bc one secretly liked the other from when they were kids but here… it’s actually enemies to lovers. They didn’t have a past together. They didn’t like each other in the beginning but after spending time together during the merit making trip, they opened up to each other about personal stuff and naturally fell in love. I need more series like this 😭😂 This was so PEAK 💯

I wish the MuTeLuv anthology series was all BL mini stories because we see how strong the screenplay and directing…
What happened with P’JoJo was ridiculous. He’s only the director he has no control over airing time. He reactivated his account now.

But I agree that this anthology series should promote new or underrated CPs, which is exactly what they did with SeaKeen and SurfJava. It was smart marketing to have them both start and end the whole anthology while airing H2H in the middle. It was also a great way to introduce new directors. I desperately need P’PingPong to direct for SurfJava again because the sensual tension and intimacy is TOP TIER. I already loved SurfJava in H2H despite the bad writing choices and awkward direction, but them in LMIYS altered my brain chemistry. They really own the enemies to lovers trope fr.

They switched directors bc P’Waa said he didn’t want fans waiting long (he was busy filming a movie or something) but i think everyone would’ve rather wait longer for a good quality series than just handing it to another director who doesn’t know what he’s doing and has a horrible track record. Now i really wonder what P’Waa’s vision for the series would’ve been… i think it would’ve still had a darker tone like in the pilot

Not MuTeLuv shining with the BL subplots:Fortune Say "Hi" 8.6/109 Temples, Love Me if You Swear 8.5/10SeaKeen…
I wish the MuTeLuv anthology series was all BL mini stories because we see how strong the screenplay and directing is compared to full length BL series with 10-12 eps. It’s just impossible to fck up the writing in only 4 eps which easily makes the quality higher. GMMTV really missed out on making them all BLs because it would’ve been a HUGE HIT, given proper promotion and merch like other series. Sometimes they just can’t foresee success which irks me.

the final EP didn't sell out? oh damnnn 😬 I feel sorry for all the actors, that mustn't feel nice..
IKR? Plot wise, I’m only really interested in ChokunAston’s series. My only complaint is the director but the pilot trailer was giving My Only 12% type of cinematography and that’s one of the best BLs of all time from acting, chemistry, and directing. It’s kinda hard to believe New Siwaj used to be good at his job. I really hope he redeems himself as a director with this series because it’s a sensitive topic. My first choice would’ve been P’Aof but he’s busy with Ticket to Heaven so I kinda get why GMMTV handed it to Siwaj since he dealt with heavy topics before like UWMA (another rare masterpiece from him). I’m just wishing for all the best to ChokunAston because they have great chemistry and I really want this series to do them justice.

Yes, The Heart Killers made me go through my JoongDunk phase and I was hardcore stanning them… but that all changed when DYTD happened 🥴 Despite Dunk’s weak acting (which sticks out like a sore thumb since he’s up against FirstKhao), his character Style was iconic and funny so it made viewers love him. Honestly… it might just be a one time fluke for them. None of JoongDunk’s other series had the same impact as THK. I think they work better as a secondary couple and can’t carry a series on their own yet.

That being said, GMMTV choosing DYTD out of every other BL of theirs to stream on Netflix globally was definitely… a choice. I’d be ashamed to make this series represent my company.
