I dropped this back at EP3 bc they already kissed and for someone who read the novel beforehand and thought it was a masterpiece, I was disappointed they didn’t even bother building up the tension bc they were already flirting from the get-go. That being said, this director… doesn’t have a good track record so I knew when they changed production house from Parbdee to this… it was gonna be a flop (the Final EP didn’t even sell out). Such a shame and wasted opportunity because this story could’ve been really good with the right director and screenplay.

I feel like the Nuea-In gang won’t accept Tum’s relationship with Oh (with all things considered) so he might have to give up being the leader in the end. In EP3, he betrayed Oh and chose his gang over him but in the Final EP, he’ll choose Oh. I just want them both to leave their gangs and run away to Pattaya together 😅

I remember when everyone kept insisting this is Bad Buddy 2.0 when the trailer dropped but the betrayal in EP3 was giving heavy High School Frenemy vibes. This is if HSF was an actual BL and I said it from the beginning when it was about rival gangs

plot wise? not at all, but maybe the dynamic will give you OhmNanon vibes but Oh (Java) is even more of a ragebaiter than Pat was.

Well, I got more of High School Frenemy vibes with the opening scene of the rival school gangs fighting so i’m not opposed to comparing this to another series I enjoyed. But if you want to know if it’s worth watching then I say yes. I genuinely laughed throughout EP1 but if you didn’t even like Bad Buddy then maybe the comedy aspect isn’t your cup of tea but still give it a chance before deciding you don’t like it.

Surf is 23 and Java is 20 so if they’re not playing school enemies then what?? They’re still too young to be playing mature roles. Also, the setting isn’t even at school or university and it’s mostly them at different temples, like I mentioned.
