I really don't understand you people how do you try to hate something when it's not even final product. I understand criticizing a final product of it's not liked or there is something triggering. That's justified but now when the series is just in a pretty production stage not even script is done. It makes no sense.

And mostly..... You find adaptations changed disrespecting. 🤣 Think about it. Thai industry have made a lot of series movies adapted from China, Korea, Japan etc. They have also changes parts to adapt it to the Thai setup. I never heard Chineese, Korean or Japanese shouting that it's disrespecting. It's just frustratingly annoying for him to take care of someone who hurt him and his lover soo much.

I don't think it was established that he actually changed. He might still be abusive. We just know that he had have a sense of liking for Juyeong since he took care of him for those years.
That Dohoe's father thought he did out of guilty feeling, so he wanted to give his school to Juyeong.
But regarding, if his father changed or not. We don't know yet.
