I have not read the novel and do not care whats in it. I believe there are a lot of viewers like me who wouldn't care less about the novel and would rather watch it as it is. I think its the writers and the director's liberty to change anything the want from the adaptation and the viewers should appreciate that creativity.
In addition, I really love Supanut's acting . He is such a versatile actor and I know he will deliver in this one as well.
P.S. : I wrote this because I somewhere that people are criticizing about the casting of this series.
Alot of people defendind him because its his first role . Well thats also true but I think its just a matter of fact that he was paired with a rather good actor that the problems in his acting seems more and more. Sometimes actors are exceptionally blessed with acting that they excel on the very first project like Bible as Vegas, while others improvise with every projects. So this criticizm is rather more based on the character role rather than the actor himself. Soo, guess we will have to see more of his work, which is rather a good thing.
I also think his character Charlie in PitBabe had no personality with that goofy smile that gave me cringe, but with the Pilot trailer his character here looks interesting far better than that of Charlie. I'll be looking forward to it.
I am all here for the lash and know people will hate me for this , but I will be honest:
I don't want season 2 to be focused on Charlie and Babe. I think their story ended beautifully. Whats more needed is the incomplete story of the other characters both individually or as a couple. I see a great deal of potential for the sidecouple story progression KentaKim (enemies to lovers), PeteWay( Unrequited love to lovers) or North Sonic ( friends to lovers).. this mixed with the twist and turn of Tony wanting to get revenge on Kenta and Pete could be soo interesting. Just saying!
I would be rather disappointed if the story follows Charlie Babe again.
I am not a fan of Perth Chimon Chemistry. I hoped Perth would be paired with someone else. Don't get me wrong, They are both great actors individually but somehow their chemistry just doesn't work. I think Chimon could do other roles so much better than a romantic ones and Perth being the chemistry king that he is (like he had with saint) would be better if paired with someone else.
They are a replacement for the void in my heart left by MAXTUL... The Daddy couple.
