Are you not being able to hate him because of the actor or the Character. Because yes it is possible that If you like the Actor playing Ming (UP) it understandable for not being able to hate Ming. But if you empathise with Ming's character, then thats something to think of.

its the opposite for me ,I really think that what Joe really needed was to tell him to be clear with his feelings for Ming and also someone to guide him whats right(although for soemone blind in love nothing works ) but still.
As fr Ming he seriously needs some life lessons, like fckg someone as a substitude clearly knowing , about Joes feelings for him is way more than that of just casual relationship. Also, in addition the way he treats Joe... its just soo rude.
