Title Love and Fortune Spoiler
What to say...the age gap in a love story could have been tolerable. But their relationship started as a pure…
It mirrors real life. How many men have been caught having relations with younger females? there are news stories about teachers [male and female] having relations with their students. So it is realistic. But then again, the series is a commentary on society.. how teens can be naïve and taken advantage of, and how in Asia, societal pressure on older women to marry and have kids is very high.

Title True to Love Spoiler
Male lead plays an emotional dead fish. By that I mean he has emotions, just really sucks at expressing them directly. Example Instead of saying "I love you/like you" He'll say "Want a free hug". Which is fine in my book as long as the female can clue in on it. Female lead is unwilling to let go of ex and move on. To the point she is willing to allow her ex to have her and his girlfriend. I'm on episode 8 and was going to drop this, but I see that I am almost finished so I'll watch it all the way. I do like the fact it's a show that starts with a break up and explorers what is after. I was just hoping not to run into a character from One spring Night [the ex that refused to let go and was making marriage arrangements for his ex], but that is what the female looks like she is.

There are flaws in this show, and it offers very little new for the jaded viewer. But if you like intimate moments, there are plenty as once the lead couple gets together they seldom fail to exchange an embrace, kiss, or intimate glances. Yes it's predictable, but it's also a nice fluffy escape show for those cold winter nights or chaotic "the sky is falling" days.

Yes. I would say so, because no matter what the couple faced, it draw them closer together.

It's not a fluffy fantasy romance or romcom.For me it's 10/10.
I enjoy fluffy romcom. But I can tolerate to a point melodramas like this. Without break ups or time skips. A couple weathering the storms that their relationship created, and how they survive it. Yes they had pauses, but even those didn't last long.

can somebody tell me why people compare something in the rain with this ???? should i watch something in the rain…
IMO, this show has it's issues, but nothing like Something in the rain. I have a stronger dislike for something in the rain [due to certain plot points that make you wonder why the character just didn't leave] vs the annoying plot points in One spring night. As I'm not using spoiler tag, I won't say what they are .

Agree to your ending paragraph. And that is the thing I dislike about so many dramas.. they build up the emotional tension between characters then give the audience just 2 or less minutes to see them all lovey dovey and happy. I prefer at least 1 or 2 episodes of such behavior [thank you My ID is Gangnam Beauty and The love that you give me].

It's light hearted until episode 11 or so when the incident first crops up. Then it gets dark from there.

Title Ho Goo's Love Spoiler
The show starts out light hearted then gets really dark the last few episodes as you learn that Do-hui was raped. Also, how many break ups must the main couple do before they finally stick together [though they seem to stick together even when broken up]. I consider this the dark version of The love that you give me. The main couple does a lot of flirt before they get serious. But in typical Kdrama, they stumble after getting serious because of Do-hui's rape trauma she is afraid to disclose. Hogu seems to have sacrificial issues, where he will put others ahead of his own happiness. He fought so heard to get Do-hui together with the second ML because he thought they were the parents. Then he backed off a second time thinking the father was deceased. The main source of humor is the second male lead thinks he is gay.
Most of the issues could have been cleared up if the characters had more self confidence and were more clear/open in their communication with each other.
It's a decent show, well worth the 8 ranking it got. I found myself needing to pause the last 3 episodes alot due to the angst and emotional stress that was building up over Do-hui being raped and her relationship seeming to fall apart with hogu because hogu was having issues comprehending her situation. Once he figured it out, things worked out.
So dark humor, disturbing story line, loads of cuteness, the baby is the best wing man in the show. Give it a shot.

I guess I don't get this whole social standing thing. Mainly because I feel that status doesn't matter when the heart is involved "The heart wants what it wants". I watched episode 1 and enjoyed it until the last minute. After the last minute it seemed like it was going to be a high angst rom-dram type show, and I don't really like that style of show. Read I read a few reviews and reviews here, and has my suspicions confirmed. To sum it up, if you like The Third Charm, then you should like this. I didn't like 3rd charm, so I dropped this show.

I watched it after watching Melancholia. I needed something sweet to pick me up and this series did the job. It's short, it's nothing really new, it's sweet, and for those that like low angst "safe" romances, this is such.

Title Melancholia Spoiler
I compare the intimacy in this to that of My Mister, but I think this is more intimate because the ML and FL share a love of math and enjoy working problems together. The middle part of the show loses the intimacy of the 1st part and gets bogged down in a legal battle. Going towards the last 3rd the couple acts like a "mature" couple [no hand holding, touching, kissing] But still walks side by side in support of each other. They only kiss once, and that is at the very end just before credit roll. So for those looking for lovey dovey, this isn't what you want. Still a decent watch as the use of Math is a driving point. Though why did the Male Lead have to isolate himself will working on a proof for 3 years is beyond me. He does math, isn't a monk or Priest so why the isolation? But at least he and the female lead had interactions through a chat app during that time. I would have given it a 9 or higher if there was more kissing/hand holding.

The drama is alright, but the FL is just killing me with her: What? What? What? I get that she is shy, but her…
She was an outcast in High school and is now a "Pretty Girl" attracting a lot of flirting/romantic attention she never had to deal with in her past. So I get why she stumbles like she does in social settings. I suspect the pacing is slow because they want her first intimate moment on screen to have more impact with the audience.

Currently watching this and enjoying the slow relationship building of the cast. It's interesting to see how the past inter connects with the present and it's impact on the present. It's a slow burn romance show, so those looking for romance stuff it takes a long time. FL had a lot of baggage she has to work through before opening herself up for romance, same with the ML. It's not everyone's cup of tea, but I enjoyed the series. I loved how the kids and the mom healed their relationship, how she admitted she had made a mistake in the past. I really loved the pacing on this show.

I really enjoyed this. Yes it's a little long and some of the sub plot does drag the show down. But over all, the interaction between the actors is pretty great.

I really enjoyed this series. Granted I didn't like the middle part, but the start and the ending parts were great. The chemistry between the leads was great, the visuals, the OST.. again to me it was the middle part that was the only real negative [ I'm here for romance and relationship not science with angst scenes. Though it was important, might have been shrunk two 2 episodes]. But I really liked the majority of the series and felt the leads gave it their all.

Is there any unnecessary love triangle??
Not really but there is a love triangle. In the past there was a red string tying the FL to the SML. Cupid fired an arrow and it hit him [cupid]. Which is why he is being punished. The FL and the SML are the reincarnations of the two from the past. So you could say Cupid is the 3rd wheel. If you keep that in mind, it makes this triangle a bit more complex... fate/destiny vs love. If this was Love between Fairy and Devil, you know love overrides destiny/fate.
