I just finished epi 31 and cried so much for tan zaozao 😭 i love this drama but its so brutal

I loved this drama so much, until the last 4mins when I got confused by the switch up - felt unnecessary for it to have just been a novel this whole time. That being said, finding out the way xie wei had schemed out the whole last arc had me gagged honestly and it was so satisfying to see the bad guys get their punishments. Especially xue shu ugh she played that role so well I think I won't be able to like her in anything else.

Ok at the end of ep3 I nearly lost my mind because the ship I want is not shipping the way I want it to be.. but to me its been fun/ny so far, the leads are all endearing and the quirky storyline is engaging. My one minor gripe I guess is that the historical immersion is a bit difficult when the FL acts the way she does around the king, but that's a me thing. I hope it ends the way I want it too but realistically I don't think it will so I might drop it later - is that too petty?
