Even though many scenes are good the green screen being used is apparent in some scenes it seems my friend had said especially the Wu Gi Ep 5 to 6 tree scenes (so many tree scenes with the ground and moving actions involved ) the lighting , color grading and CGI had been compromised there. She said there is a reason why xianxia releases after a long time .
She said since she does animations and CGI stuff she is very sensitive to how it appears on the screen. She said she won't forgive Tencent for having rushed and comprised the quality for this drama , like even though its good for us now she said it could have been more excellent had more time been given to them for post production. But they wanted to make their end year financial numbers good so we get this.
Also she said she expected nothing less from Tencent fantasy dramas she had kept that in mind too while watching. . Its not that she is saying its horrible but she said it could have been even more excellent.
She hopes if Lusi ever does Xianxia again its not with Tencent but youku or iqiyi since they really do it better than them.

Feng Yin is not her daughter she is Feng Ran's disciple. Phoenixes are not born necessarily from another phoenix also why there is two phoenix is explained from Ep 5 to 6 of The Last Immortal . Yeah she thought to check the comments if it has calmed down here , she said she is afraid if she reads the comments here her enjoyment for the drama might go down. Plus her edits recaps and reviews take a lot of time she has to watch episodes twice or thrice while writing recaps.
Also she said if CGI is the problem for many that is not the the actors or crews fault we all know why Xianxia requires longer post production Tencent is the one who rushed it so if any fingers has to be pointed for that issue it shouldn't be the actors.
[ She admitted its apparent in some scenes , she could notice some roughness she has done some art , CGI stuff before so she is sensitive I guess , and this might be the result of rushing the drama ]
But even with the rushing we haven't gotten it to the point of unbearable its still pretty good overall , its just Tencent did damage the quality this would have had had it been given a little more time before releasing even Wang Anyu and Lusi had said post production requires a lot of time and this would be released next.
She is hating Tencent for rushing it just to make their Financial report look good. At the same time she says the story , the actors and the majority of the scenes are beautiful , interesting and engaging so she is enjoying it.

The drama production does not having the copyright to use Ancient Love Poetry drama characters names if they used same names without buying the rights it would be a big problem.
