Miles Wei is such a good actor because he is making me dislike his character Liu Chang very well even few moments of pity for the kind if parents and family he had but he is still an utter scumbag for attempting that on Mu Dan.

Then there is Sheng Yi A Fu the lady doctor the guild leader Chuan Yu .Jiang's Aunty who is so cool the King of the country who is also finally an Emperor I can like after a long time in costume dramas Mr Xu ( the teacher and honest court official )

the antagonists act really really well too Prince Ning the Liu Family the corrupt officials the flower guild vice president Princess Youzhen etc

Goodness even the direction cinematography writing and everything else is so so so good.

Yes its really really good almost feels like I was watching a disney movie with those first four episodes. And I love all the actors and characters even the antagonists . The actjng story music pacing and cinematography is absolutely stunning 😍

Baobei Lusi's drama after a long drought of 10 months and it is spectacular the first 4 epsiodes amazing ,
I cannot explain how much I adore Lusi in historical Costume dramas .
And I love that entore ensemble have such good acting makes the drama all the more better 👏

Honestly when Hua Shu started to go to the good way due to Lan Fengs love I cheered for her only if her father hadn't coluded with the devils and helped kill Lan Feng she might actually be on the lath of redemption and character growth.

I am setting a camp here will drop every few days knowing very well that it will probably take few months or a year to be released.
Also Liu Yu Ning and Zhao Lusi looks drop dead gorgeous in their outfits I am loving their costumes a lot.
I hope we can see some red and green color combo like what Gu Xiang (Zhou Ye ) wore in word of honor for her wedding (😭 though that part was a tragedy) I really liked that costume and jewelry design and its the same costume designer here too ,maybe not that grand version but still hope to see that color scheme in the later part of the story when Duan Wu becomes a powerful merchant.

Can't wait to see what her next project will be after TLOJ , but I do hope she can rest a little and get some massage/spa it looks like she strained her shoulders and neck muscles with her busy schedule recently.
