I know that IOTNBO mostly remarkable because of Seo Yeji and his brother, come on, you comparing characters with autism and serious psychological problems, very emotional characters, with non-emotional, quiet and mostly calm character. Of course, they're more remarkable. It doesn't make Ksh acting in IOTNBO bad or less complex, and him "just popular" actor.

I think director and writer know better if it's right choice or not. She's 25 years old, this is not "too young". Kim Soo Hyun received first lead role then he was 24 yo. And he got Baeksang award for that. Kim Da Mi was at the same age as KSE, then she filmed with Park Seo Joon as female lead in her first k-drama ever. Han So Hee was at the same age, then she acted lead centric role in My name. Kim Shi Eun has even more work experience than Kim Da Mi had back then, and recognition for her role in movie Next Sohee. So why she can't be female lead? Anyway, if her acting skills are good enough for her role, if chemistry with other actors will be chemistring, and if drama good, then I think it doesn't matter if she's lead or not.

Lol, KJW's character was very remarkable in FFMW and she carried her couple in DOTS. Although I'm not agree with Pann about KSH, I think both of them were great, KJW is good enough to carry dramas. No, Queen of tears wasn't carried by Kim Ji Won. And I telling this as a huge fan of KJW. Whole cast was great, and both leads nailed their roles as well. If you watched QOT, it means you watched ep 14, where KSH literally played hyperventilation and panic attack. Anyone who watched this scene can tell how good he was. And before that episode QOT has a lot other remarkable scenes with him. If after that you saying that he is just "a popular one", and that only female lead carried show, then you're no more than a troll. No, no and no, "ordinary" characters like this not easy to portrait either. And did you watch One ordinary day? It's a male centric drama, there wasn't female leads, and KSH was very good in his role.

Even in One Ordinary Day actress who played his one-night love interest in 1st episode, was remarkable.
