OK so for the people that are still hanging on & are actually interested...How are you not talking about pizza…
I don't know, I'm weird. Me personally, I don't care at all about Zouey and Teena, they do absolutely nothing for me. Zouey is actually peak cringe for me. For some reason First is my absolute favorite character, but I think it's because of how unabashedly unhinged he is.
I'm also surprised that no one else was interested in Soong's little mental glitch there. Clearly they are setting up that everyone was just a little bit involved in Nont's shady life and disappearance. They're just going to keep throwing red herrings at us until we learn the truth. Actually, Soong having a Nont flash this early nearly vindicates him of any wrong doing on that front, in my eyes. Because it's never who is first suspicious. Soong is such a confusing character to me because I don't know if he's actually a piece of shit or not.
As the treasurer of the Way Apologist Club, I'd like to formally take donations to help buy Babe a clue.
He is currently struggling with cloudy vision caused by excessive horniness, and it is causing him to trust Charlie for absolutely no good reason. This is especially confusing, stupid and troubling behavior as his past indicates that he is very familiar with the concept of never letting your guard down and never trusting someone to not be out to use you.
I am hoping with your help and charitable donations, that this clue provided to Babe might make the storyline between him and Charlie actually move somewhere by forcing Charlie to actually reveal his true motivations, intentions and feelings.
Anything you can contribute would go a long way to making this show more enjoyable for all.
Thank you so much for your time and consideration. Sincerly, the Treasurer of the Way Apologist Club
lol. I love you.P.S. Babe losing that race was his own damn fault because he was distracted by the dicknopsis…
Yes, I'd put all of my money down for Way even if he actually did commit a crime against humanity. Which he literally didn't. All he said was, "Hey, bestie. I think maybe you shouldn't trust Charlie." Also, I feel really sad for Way because I think he genuinely doesn't believe that he nor Babe could ever love anyone because of who they are. He was even willing to never confess to Babe because he's so sure he can't be loved. So I can't imagine how much it must hurt to see Babe start to develop feelings for someone else. Imagine spending your whole life thinking you had an understanding with someone who was just as much an outsider as you, only to realize that actually the entire time you were just on the outside alone. In Way's eyes it went from -yes, we're both alone out of necessity, but hey, at least we're alone together, to Babe being like "Actually, I don't need to be alone and I can be with someone, and you were actually the only one that felt like you couldn't be loved. Later." That's got to hurt.
Anyways, justice for Way. He did nothing wrong.

I knew what I was signing up for when I decided to be the resident apologist for a character that I knew was going…
I really don't think they'll go there in the series. First of all, they're going to cut out any and all mentions of MPREG, so the entire plot of Tony wanting Babe to be his golden breeder is going to go away, and so is the plot of him dispatching Way to breed with Babe. Also, apparently Pete and Way aren't even a thing in the novels, and we know they will be in the series, so I predict that there will be an alternate ending for Way.
I do think Way has been manipulating Babe's mind, and I think the rift between them will come about because Babe will find out that Way has been manipulating his mind and his feelings for Charlie. I think that's as far is it will go in the series.
I know even in the books, Way never manipulated Babe into loving him. That was the one line he didn't cross. I hope that stays true in the series. My hope is that after Way and Babe fall out, Way and Pete get together and then Babe and Charlie can go off and be boring and happy together, Way and Pete can be happy together and Alan and Jeff can be happy together and everybody wins.
Yup, every time Way grips Babe's shoulder, he's using his powers to manipulate his mind, this insidious whispering…
I knew what I was signing up for when I decided to be the resident apologist for a character that I knew was going to have to be villainized in order for the main couple to work. I'm a delulu psychopath though, so I'm going to keep on keeping on the Way agenda.
In my mind, it makes his character even more tragic to me. Way could easily, at any time have manipulated Babe into loving him, but he doesn't. He's willing to not be with Babe, because he doesn't want a relationship through manipulation. In his mind, the only thing that made this okay was that Babe was at least not in love with anyone else. He still felt like the most important person in Babe's life, even if Babe couldn't return his feelings. He got used to the status quo and then the status quo changed when Charlie entered the scene and he couldn't handle it.
Does this make him a toxic, bad friend? Yes. But I still kind of feel sorry for him.
As a completely partial and most definitely not completely biased to the point that I'm practically watching an entirely different show in my head, I'm that delulu viewer, I can safely say that everything that happened was 100% Babe and Charlie's fault and Way did nothing wrong. Lol.
I would expect nothing less from the President of the Way Apologist Club. As the treasurer of said club, I can…
The show is going to change so much from the novels, though. The main revelation plot is going to be completely different. And apparently Way & Pete aren't even a thing in the books. So I'm willing to bet that the show will have a different outcome for Way's character. Either way, though, I'm a ride or die kind of bitch.
I would expect nothing less from the President of the Way Apologist Club. As the treasurer of said club, I can agree that Babe was never even in. He's standing outside in the rain while Way is chilling inside by the fire.
am i the only one who ships babe and way?? idk they look got tgt visually 😆
I think Pavel and Nut have good chemistry, but IMO, Way needs to get over Babe and find someone better. Thank god Pete is entering the scene next week.
i can already see that Babe is really not into Way in this ep so even if he is not a traitor its not going to…
I guess I just meant from an audience perspective. Though, I could be warped by my very biased opinion. In my eyes, as of right now, the show wants us to believe that Charlie is a traitor. As long as that is the narrative, Way's actions appear justified. What I meant is, the only way the Charlie/Babe pairing from the audience perspective can be justified is if those intentions are reversed. So I feel like they'll probably reveal that Charlie is not a traitor and that Way is, therefore Babe's as of right now completely misplaced faith in Charlie can be deemed as justified.
I'd like to declare my official role as a resident Way apologist. I have a feeling that he'll end up being a traitor, because that seems like the only way to justify the Charlie/Babe pairing, but even if he is I'm still on his side. I don't even care.
Way is actually not a good guy , he was sent by the father to impregnate babe. Way is also another adopted son
Yikes. Is this what the actual novel is about? If so then I'm glad the show will 100% change it because that's just next level cringe. Doesn't change my opinion about Way, though.
