if that was the conclusive decision you came to after watching this then i need not say more because we obviously read two different novels

i think my comment went over there head i was just merely pointing out what others have said if anything my main point was that a bromance focused on the two ML the Female cast was entirety un-needed and made the drama sum else.

soooo...... people hated on the 47yo in teen body to teen boy but are ok with the girl and speaking of girl wth is the point of bromance if your going to make it a straight drama in the end

no not even close its only half the took because at this point its not an adaptation but they changed the entire story in terms of ending and progression

i did it for you its not terrible but not good but watchable to those who are not aware of the novel, ir those who enjoy this genre

although this show did well lets hope the negativity at least lets them know to not pull this again leave the censored dramas to china lets be real their done better but always leaves you heartbroken at the end (cough cough... stay with me)

they changed the ML and the story so they had to at that point otherwise like you said it wouldn’t make senses

in the show no in the book yes thats what i was saying whats done is done idc the only connection to the book was the Characters names and most of there background and setting the ML was and i mean SYH was completely changed and his sexuality was the driving force behind alot of what happened to him.

Every reason they gave for his bullying was a change from the original reason the romance didn’t come until the soul thing so the first half of the book is literally about struggles with sexuality and abuse.

and whats with the association that gay automatically leads to a bl i would love if they kept our main Character gay as he was and went with this bromance but truly changing that small thing would connect alot that ep 8 made very clear they didn’t put their best foot in (i mean the production/producers not the cast)

I still stand by my heavy criticism of this show honestly im just glad i was correct in my initial assessment back at ep 1 about changing a small thing makes the whole show something else but if i had to put an analogy to this id say its like a beautiful picture behind a cracked glass frame

i can see why you got that interpretation but they changed the fact that SYH was gay witch in-turn changed the entire story so its not that its a life its more cause and effect

ok so they did just change everything so...... they made it a straight drama in the end like dont get me wrong i didn’t dislike the show but everyone who said straightwash was right kinda i rewatched the ending and was left with what was the point i feel like a 6.5 is fair and only because the last ep was kinda all over the place

when i say this i mean this in the most respectful way but this drama is very much a watch on the go drama or watch on short break kinda show witch probably plays into the liking of this show and fast paced and though there isn’t much wrong with that i watch this a see 50min+ time but it still feels rushed and increasing the ep wont help much ill save my rating until the show ends but im comfortably at a 6-7 for now

i love how they took this teenager telling them about there lives in detail talking in first person as yeah thats our boss son 😭😭 like wth

who else watched playboyy and is traumatized because Thailand is getting real conformable its reaching netflix level 😭😭

The show is very incongruous with the original novel, and many people either ignore this or blindly support it because their favorite actors are cast.
