ok very serious question ignoring the definition for the words being different well mostly ive seen romance dramas with no kiss or sexual activity, then i look at Bromance and Platonic dramas at that point its the same right because only tittle makes them different like Bf or Gf but pretty much the same right?

ok after finding out the real reasons for its censored version because i hate having little info before starting arguments and after just observations i now understand something’s.

1.The author gave the ok on the novel being made a drama witch was originally a bl

2.The removal only happened because of people doing the same thing others are only that homophobia was the reason of the ML fans anger (like they forced him to play the role)

3.The show isn’t bad for those who don't know or ignore comments and are unaware

4. ignorant people on here are not worth the time as ignorance was of people was the downfall of what could be a top tier show touching on real life issue especially in Korea where LGTBQ people face a lot of issues and have high suicide rates (more men than female).

5.People overlook big issues like rapist and homophobia when there's an actor they like involved.

6.if i missed anything do add or if people want to dispute do say i love discussing viewpoints not arguing.

Completely agree they wont admit a sad truth is that real bromance doesn’t have the extra tension or suspense or anything close to that but dramas that are "NOT" supposed to be bromance always do and why thats because producers know that there "Adaptation" will flop otherwise

also people be for real a bromance allows people to make up a scenario or enjoy subtle hints but hey do what yall like enjoy constant suspense.

bromance is quite literally another way of saying brotherhood not anywhere near a romance and how do you make something gay that was originally supposed to be that Korean bl's are short nice but short and rushed China idrc im used to it Thai most are bad and good ones get repetitive Taiwan all are good but once again short no comment on Japan because there shows are predictable both bl's and straight people got excited about this drama because it was a new thing for the bl's but that got shot down immediately so yeah people are mad.

now ill be honest its not bad but i never thought it would be i don't get removing the romance still because there is obvious plot holes like i said there would be i don't need to hate on something i knew would happen also i pretty sure there only doing the first part of the novel before the romance really kicks in witch was the only smart thing they did.

i have not once said for people to not do what they want idc i have read the novel so i probably wouldn’t have watched this show anyways and thats just me but most definitely a big thing i don't like is the removal of romance and it being replaced with something that changes the entire trajectory of the show anger was not an emotion that i felt about this but dissatisfaction and disappointment though absolutely.

i dont really care what people do but for me and if others have any opinions do share i don't what country, what version, or what sexuality is involved in a show or drama if it was meant to be a romance keep it as one idc if you change it up a bit i don't agree with the removal of the romance and no making it into a bromance or anything equivalent is not a ok thing to do the novel was nice and i read it it dose not deserve to be turned into this thats all and i feel the same way about most shows and dramas.
