The last two episodes ruined the good mood built up by the entire series. Why do chinese writers do this? The ending is always ruined between episode 30 and 36 like why?!! I'm soo frustrated.
Chu Zhao is annoying me so much!!! Dude just got a general who saved an entire city flogged for just leaving his post!!!! He Yan would've just drowned if Xiao Jue didn't pull her out of the water.
The fact that no one notice the height difference of He Rufei (before 5.4ft, after which is nearly 5.9ft)... Seems…
My thoughts exactly!!! How did no one notice the height difference? The actor for hei ru fei is 180cm while Zhou Ye is small at 165cm. Are He Ruifei and He Yan the same height in the novel or Is He Yan a really tall woman in the novel?
The rating is way to high guys but it’s still a good drama, maybe the rating is for the chemistry between the…
Agreed. The rating is unusuallyhigh for this drama. I think the popularity of the novel is one of the contributing factors. Its a good drama but not worth the current rating. Any drama above 8.5 should be watchable multiple times. This isn't a drama I would watch multiple times.
I suspected Tong Shuang as Yesha the moment he died in episode 31 (fake death). Dude had amazing martial arts and could've just jump out of there, instead he just stood there like a fool. It had to be him!
what is it.. i dropped it fairly early on but keen to get the spoilers.. whose body was found in ep 1 when he…
The body found in the beginning is the FL's. She's dies protecting her brother from a bullet after getting separated from the ML. The ML survives due to a soldier claiming to know who he is. Her brother became a priest in the present.
I guess Xiao Bei Ming's brother is Yesha. He was separated from his brother and adopted by someone from Heiya, got to know the backstory and inherited the vengeance and now seeks to overthrow the Qi Kingdom. This is just my guess.
I'm wondering what in the world this series has done to deserve this rating? 7.9... Just because it has no romance.…
Here are my thoughts. Both Corner's diary and Seven relics of Omen, have smaller cases followed by a larger overarching case and better romance whereas The Wanted Detective is just one long case which has been split into smaller segments and is darker in theme as well. Not everyone has the patience or the curiosity to hang on to a single case over the course of 36 episodes. If all the episodes were released all at once maybe the rating would've been higher. Also, poisoning Xiao Beiming was kinda stupid and the story would've done better without him being poisoned. The time being spent trying to cure him of the poison was kinda boring and even felt like wasted screen time. Just the Yesha case is super interesting and the story would work without him suffering from poison. That is what I think, just take it with a grain of salt.
I really don't understand why they killed off the female lead, it felt meaningless. If not for that I would've rated this a 9.5 but now it's just an 8.
They looked too happy at ep 16, it's usually the eps that everyone is happy (15, 16).Around ep 28 to 30 who's…
We've been soo traumatized from watching chinese dramas that alarm bells ring in our minds when there's too much happiness. I agree with you though, when they were being too happy my mind went "the f they soo happy for?!" 🤣😅🤣
I really like this drama. There’s a sense of comfort and warmth in watching all five of them interact—eating…
The passing of messages from one end of the table to the other end at the end of episode 10 made me LOL. I wish we had more romance but I guess that is because of the short length of the drama. If we had 4 more episodes the writer's may have had the screen time to work with.
Say no more and take my money.
