what I've meant, it entered in a below 10K range so it's "rankable" but will hardly go over that number, even with other watchers joining... There will still be enough people abandoning bc it is nothing special and the quitting is what weights the most.
It isn't the status of a ranked or unranked drama to determine the number of people who downrates single eps, but the ratio with those who overrated it. And I agree with you, too much love and too much hate are both detrimental for a drama, bc they are feeding each other.
I also think this drama will end up with a higher score (but not exaggerately higher, bc small share of people expressed their votes, they usually rise until 30% of watchers), bc. it's a watchable fantasy xianxia with actors who are good perfomers and no particular flaws in storytelling, pacing, editing etc, a genre and type of drama that generally scores higher than they actually deserve but have a particular appeal.

This drama will hardly go beyond a treshold of 10K.
It is nice, I am watching it daily bc I feel entertained (for the time being), but let's be honest, it isn't a hit, it doesn't bring any additional value or originality that your jaw drops down with a "wow!" and it's only natural that many people decide to drop it (as nothing new) while other people start it, so we can't know the ratio between them, bc we can't see it - and that (*the dropping) is the factor that influences the most dramas at this stage. Certainly more than a few haters that rate unseen eps "1" and counts as fractions of votes.
An 8 is a nice vote with just less than 4-5% share of watchers expressed, actually, it's a green light meaning: "watchable" for all the people who just started or still have to start it.

I've searched on iqiyi. It gives me available The Ferryman: Manjusaka from 2018, The Ferryman: Legends of Nanyang (2021) and the third one 2025 with ferryman in title which also has nothing to do with Ferryman S1,2,3 relatable to this trailer.

It is his voice, I remember it from Blemish Flaw. I am not a Mandarin speaker but in that drama he had a long and deeply touching monologue, reciting such unforgettable verses in such a way that I've actually understood them without knowing the language (actually, I've recognized a few words I understand) with that magical voice and perfect line delivery. I'd bet that 90% or actors we've seen in recent years are unable to deliver such a monologue or to recite poetry in such an impactful way that even a listener who doesn't understand the language feels moved to tears.

I remembered he played a bad person in Blemish Flaw and we liked him nevertheless, lol. Veeery attractive 😍 beside being a really good actor (that memorable drunken monologue is still in my head)...

your remark is on spot as always, but I doubt this FL's characterization will remain such for a long time. It's true she gets continously into troubles, bc she is overconfident of her skills as a scammer and a small thief, thinking she is able to adapt to or escape the worst outcome in every situation. What she lacks is a knowledge to assess the situation in the world she doesn't know, bc. we've seen she is capable of such assessment in the world she knows when she saved the Pig from humans, meaning she isn't dumb, just unaware of many things and not particularly knowledgeable. Besides, she is unaware of who she really is and what are her real potentials (her blood seems to be half demon). Such characters don't remain unaware and clumsy for a long time in dramas.
As for love triangles... Bing Zhu seems to be more obsessed with the revenge of his sister than interested in her. Besides, we wouldn't feel bad if someone with Wang Duo's face was interested in us, so I suppose that even in that case (which I doubt), she won't be praticularly upset, lol
