LJL knows her better than she knows herself. I agree with him she is acting cold but is too soft hearted towards her family members while being too hard on herself, constantly worrying about the people she protects, tea trees, family business etc. This attitude of hers will create a rift between the two of them, bc this isn't how persons should be handled and LJL is again right on spot when he said that.
A modern doctor would diagnose her pneumonia as "a collapse of immunity system due to overwork, exhaustion, stress and lack of self care". A psychologist would say "she wears that cold mask to hide her overprotectiveness and incapability to establish clear and effective boundaries between herself and everything she wants to protect." I've always thought the grandma is to blame for the mess in the Rong's family (and she actually is the n°1 culprit for it) but RSB is also at fault. She never complained, refused to (over)work, delegated a task or soundly "f*ck off-ed" sisters' unreasonable and poisonous remarks. That's how she silently indulged them as well, saying: "it's ok, this is how the things should normally work", so they'll never learn how to behave. Above all, she never contraddicted her grandma, in front of her she is always composed, calm and stable. And that troglodyte continues to add burdens on her, she even tasked her to write letters of gratitude for the gifts anybody can write. Instead of sending that pile of papers back to the old lady with a message: "if you can't do it yourself, task some of your idle granddaughters, I have no time for this crap".
She literaly gives vibes of a deity who doesn't need to share her thoughts and worries with anybody. And LJL is again right: she is not a deity, but made of flesh and blood. Now that she has LJL who is willing to share her burdens, she shouldn't hide mrs Yang and Wanwan from him. She should instead plan with him a way to solve the Wei case with a minimum damage for these two. The storm is coming, folks, not only on that plantation but on the plot as well.

Bratty 4th sis already cleaned and fertilised the ground instead of letting the water already present under the ground to flow away and will provoke a waterlogging disaster on the plantation and Yunshu enjoys the fact 4th sis will be held responsible for that disaster, metaphorically expressed with her last phrase that she enjoys that "little drizzle" and finds it refreshing.

The writer evidently wanted us to condone Yunxi's collusion with family's enemy n°1 which led to her cousin's "murder" depicting her as dumb as not to know what kind of psycho He was. And we feared her all the time as a master of schemes and top rival. I agree with you, total disappointment.
And I despise grandma even more: she continues to add more burden to already worn out RSB like tasking her to personally write letters of gratitude just anybody can write. Lets just hope the tea plantation disaster during RSB's illness will knock some sense and discipline into these unruly girls...

And he told her well: she doesn't know how to keep in check her sisters. They are unruly bc their grandma never disciplined them and indirectly wants them to challenge RSB's authority, but RSB's fault is her handling the business alone, never assigning tasks to her sisters and establishing the hierarchy of roles and the system of merits and demerits. As Lu said: she isn't a deity, she is made of flesh and blood, she'll just crash from exhaustion if continues to wear herself out.
And that grandma is truly despicable. As RSB isn't burdened enough, she even assign her additional task anybody else can handle like writing the thank you letters

I agree with your conclusion but not with all the premises you've exposed to reach that conclusion.
1. I think we can all agree with your last statement, that we enjoy this "Mr and Mrs Smith in costume, but 10x better". Just kidding. 😉I've meant the statement before "they’re both cats trying to catch a mouse". Indeed, they both have their own agendas. They like each other (the mutual attraction was there even when she walked out from the bandits' den) but even more, they NEED each other. He needed her to recover his injuries and memory, to hide from the corrupted officials who tried to kill him and still needs to stay in her place in order to find "the missing wife", retrial the case and gets his reward from the emperor. She needs him too, maybe even more badly. Not just to catch a knife and kill the person who just kept that knife under her throat or to protect her annoying cousin, keep her suitors and other annoying people in general at bay, cheer her up when she is in a bad mood, be an acting husband, respect her right to have her own secrets and ways in dealing with issues, respect her as a human being in general (women's needs are more complicated in general), but above all - she needs him to help her clean the mess in her house, a task no other man except ML can help with. And this need is the reason why she was ready to pick him as her "husband" during the tea tree ceremony and was stopped only when she saw bead bracelet in Yang bull's hand.

2. Now, let's see the part I disagree with. You've said he knows her enough bc also knows "her mercy, honor and kindness" referring to "her willingness to take on and nurse back to health someone who was her family’s perceived enemy at the time". He wasn't her family's enemy (her family just didn't give a sh*t to account to some unknown official about their relations with the "missing wife"). As for her kindness towards him, we just presume she just felt a bit of compassion in the moment he grabed her coat and pleaded to save him. That's probably what we would have done, but RSB is not us, we are unable to scheme or use persons like she does or be "10 steps ahead" as you've said. The only fact that we know is: SHE KNEW WHO HE WAS when she saved him and that in that moment she didn't know he lost his memories. And what if she saved him EXACTLY because he was the official she already knew as upright (bc she saved her from the bandits' den) and who was highly probably in charge of investigating the "missing wife case" (for which other reason would such a high official be pushed down from the cliff?)? That identity (of an upright official) combined with the fact corrupted officials attempted to his life and the fact she saved his life can be put to a good use. His memory loss was a small complication along the way to put her plan in practice, but what I've wanted to point out is that the drama gave us more reasons to believe it was his "potential use" and not her compassion the main reason why she saved him. She wants him to restore his memory and contacts, that's why she didn't even check the message he sent to his mentor.

3. I agree with you they both keep their secrets and are still a bit wary of each other but this is exactly how all romances start in reality. I usually disdain romances in dramas ff-arding romantic scenes stupidly enforced in dramas I like but I haven't done such a thing here and like a lot how their relationship is developing in this drama. We, both men and women, are not eager to reveal our secrets when we start a romantic relationship, we prefer to test the potential partner before we reveal him/her smth and we all like to have "an upper hand" before we are sure the potential partner will truly help us with an issue that bothers us. This is exactly their situation. She hides Mrs Yang's secret because she wants to be sure they'll solve Mrs Yang's situation in coordination with each other when the time is ripe. And exactly like her, we are honest and share the truths we can share (as she shared the truth about the tea bone with him and is generally honest), now is the ML's turn, as he is regaining his memories.

So, yes, she fell first (logical, she knows who he is and what's the situation and environment) but he fell harder (also logical, he wasn't completely aware who he was and what's the situation they are all in).

He was a bad guy in general, a psycho. Yan knew He didn't stay in the mansion bc of his proposal to the blind sis after he posioned the well bc Yan was present when the blind sis said he was secretly meeting 2nd sis. The Monk is smart and can easily connect the dots: He was plotting smth with 2nd sis. No way the two would meet for romantic purposes, bc Yunxi was after him before and he knew she wanted him only bc he was chosen by the old lady, she would never take someone the grandma wouldn't like (He family are Rong's enemies). The monk also saw the scholar entering He's chamber for dinner the previous evening. Hearing smth bad happened, then Bai being taken by the guards and satisfied expression on He's face... that's the most plausible reason for his reaction.

Re: Missing wife case. Mrs Yang Lan, aka nanny Liang is supposed to be dead, not missing. She was abused by her husband and his Wei family but never helped by her original family, in particular her bro we've seen in the latest eps. They've expected her to be killed by the Weis in order to ask them for a compensation for her life. So, she decided to escape asking a friend (RSB's mom) to give her shelter, that's how she became Wanwan's nanny. But the Yangs couldn't easily give up on the idea of compensation, so, when Wei came to their door asking to give him back his wife, they've accused him of murdering her. They've picked some random bones, bribed someone to confirm it was Mrs Yang and Wei finished in prison for murder based on that fabricated evidence, while Yangs won the compensation case consisting in Wei's tea plantations (with help of some higher official, probably the fatty prefect Xu who hid/destroyed a report of a coroner stating the bones actually belonged to a male, so they can't be the evidence of Mrs Yang's murder/death). Before Wei committed suicide in prison, he wrote a blood letter of his innocence and the emperor decided to retrial the whole case.
So, if Mrs Yang is ever found alive and kickin' as she is, the very fact would bring down the entire Yang family (that's why RSB said to the bull the truth would damage more the Yangs than the Rongs), not only in terms of plantations they've injustly received, but they'll be guilty of deception together with the high official(s) they've bribed in the process. She is like a time bomb for the Yangs.

You're right, but she decided to throw herself over LJL that night later. It wasn't a decision, she acted on a whim when she saw the shape of the person she was disgusted with behind the door. She didn't want to face and fight that brute... and exactly bc he felt she wasn't in the right state of mind, LJL refused to make love with her. Yeah, now we know he won't escape that thing so easily, she moved him into her chamber... 🤦‍♀️

Oh, sorry, I've thought my post with spoiler tag passed through, lol.
There's one guy I've never suspected bc I've confused the "day of the wedding night" (pls. excuse this contradictio in adiecto) with the day on the plantation (when RSB avoided to get into the coach together with the Monk and butler Cheng and returned with "injured" LJL, sending butler Cheng to LJL's chamber/courtyard in order to help him with his leg).
On the day of her wedding night, she was out with LJL, officially "checking on a ditch", ie. having her sweet time on a boat with ML after he helped her escape watching the scene of her husband-to-be moving into her chamber with his things and servants. That's why I've thought there were only her own and Yang family's servants in her courtyard. I've excluded the chief maid Mrs Yan as a killer, bc. the old lady Rong wouldn't order her to kill him in RBS's premises. She was in RBS's courtyard asking for RBS to have dinner with the old lady. Butler Cheng was with her in that moment. He is head over heels for RBS, he could stand someone "noble" like the Monk with hair marries his "queen" but not that brute Yang who was evidently blackmailing her. So, he had the motivation and the opportunity (for him, it's a piece of cake to invent a pretext - eg. to take an account book - to enter the chamber and put some poision into the wine).
The only problem with this: he didn't know about the bracelet. When RSB chose Yang, he was standing too far away to see what Yang was holding.

As He psycho didn't take it, either, this missing bracelet is probably in the hands of the person who poisoned him. Before, I've thought it was Yang the Sneaky Twin, who had the motivation (to get rid of the more successful bro), the opportunity to enter and get out of the mansion and courtyard with that identic face or even to order the family servants around his bro from remote to put either a poison or smth else the bro was intollerant of in his drink. But now it seems he neither wanted to marry RSB nor he knew about the bracelet, only the old Yang knew it.

So, whoever of the two (Cheng or Yang the twin/servant at his orders) poisoned the bull, it's highly probable there was another person who took the beads before He entered into the room

Nope, He didn't know she wasn't in the room. He probably wouldn't kill her, maybe he wouldn't kill the bull either, he entered to spoil their wedding night. He gave him a coup de grace with a candlestick, maybe he wasn't even armed

I think I know who poisoned Yang the Bull, but I don't think he knows about the beads...
