I really enjoyed the series, even though each episode is only 25–30 minutes long. It’s fast-paced in a good way—they give such a solid backstory that by the time the main story begins, you understand exactly where everyone stands.I did find it a bit overwhelming that three characters fell for the same person at the same time, but the script handles it so well that it ends up making sense. All four characters grow throughout the series, which I really appreciated.
I honestly recommend watching the show if you want something light and sweet. Also, the visuals are stunning.

Unexpectedly good!
Definitely an underdog in the BL world especially because I didn’t see a lot of hype but surprisingly, it ended up being really good. The story was touching and compelling. I liked how every episode flowed smoothly and it never felt cheesy. It had a little bit of everything: it was funny, it was romantic, and it felt very balanced.I also appreciated that, compared to other BLs, the intimate scenes didn’t rely on a heavy sexual tone. It felt perfect for the couples, even the second leads; everything fit their dynamics so well. The scenery was beautiful, and the soundtrack was lovely. If you want something that’s not toxic, not over-the-top cheesy, and not packed with sexual content, just a soothing series overall, definitely give it a watch.
The only thing I didn’t love was how they packed everything into the last episode. They even did a one-year time jump, but we didn’t really get to see them simply being themselves before suddenly jumping into “Okay, now we’re good, now we’re living our lives and doing what we want.” Still, overall, it was good.
I personally hadn’t seen Winny or Satang act before. From the cast, I’d only seen Neo and Mond and they’re obviously really good at what they do; so it was refreshing to see new faces too. The whole cast delivered really nice character portrayals.

It's real, brutal, and funny.
I went into this series without any expectations at all. Honestly, the main reason I watched it was for Rowoon and Park Seo-ham. I’ve never seen either of them portray these kinds of characters before — the last time I saw Park Seo-ham was in Semantic Error, and Rowoon is usually in rom-coms or dramas. So I was really excited to see them take on more action-focused, intense roles. The genre is labeled as a drama, but it’s surprisingly funny at times, which caught me off guard in a good way. I actually had fun watching it! That said, it was a bit of a slow burn — for me, things really started to pick up around episode five, and there are only nine in total.
The characters are solid, and the actors did a great job portraying them. Just don’t expect a sweet, happy ending — because it doesn’t have one. There were moments where I got frustrated since it felt like the villains kept winning while the main characters were constantly struggling.
Overall, the story touches on patriotism, responsibility, love for one’s country, bravery, and the hardships people face. So if that’s your cup of tea, definitely give it a watch.

light and fluffy
I read the comic first, and then I watched the show and all I’m going to say is the cast did an amazing job bringing to life the emotions, the visuals, and the tears from the from the comic. New cast for me. I don’t recall seeing them before, but I’m genuinely hyped to see them again. They got a new fan here with me. Not a life changing story but it will keep you entertained. Was this review helpful to you?

Not your typical BL but WATCH IT!
I started watching the series without any background information. The only thing I knew was actor Thor who plays Dr. Kan. I’m no expert, but I don’t think the writers, directors, or producers intended this to be a BL series at least not with the relationship between Thiu and Kan as the main focus. In fact, I wouldn’t even classify it under the romance genre.Personally, I felt like the episodes became repetitive at times. I tried to feel sympathetic toward Dr. Kan, but I still have mixed feelings about him. On one hand, it seems like he genuinely liked Thiu, especially since he knew about him through what Thiu’s mother shared as his patient. However, when Dr. Kan confesses that he likes Thiu, it’s initially presented as a lie to gain his trust and gather information about the cases. Naturally, their dynamic shifts as the series progresses.
That being said, the last two episodes were excellent and emotionally raw and incredibly engaging. I’d like to highlight the fantastic work of the entire cast. Their portrayals were absolutely splendid, and the chemistry between the protagonists was amazing. You could truly feel the tension between them. I also want to give special praise to Aelm for his portrayal of Boss. He was stunning, and I wish they had developed his character more.
Overall, it’s a decent series. I don’t think I’ll watch it again, but it would be great if they surprised us with a few extra happy episodes or even a second season so we could see Kan and Thiu happy together.

Get a piña colada to watch this.
The series was honestly long overdue for me to watch, but I kept avoiding it because of the "alleged trauma" it brings—I never wanted to start! The first thing that caught my attention was that they used different actors to portray the characters as children, which helped emphasize the growth of the characters. Teh and Oh-aew are a realistic portrayal of the teenage experience. Episode 3 was such a beautiful journey of self-discovery mixed with trauma. Oh-aew is my hero. I feel like he already knew that his feelings for Bas were just fleeting lust. He was so honest and brave about his emotions; he didn’t express these feelings openly, but he knew they weren't as deep as what he felt for Teh.I tried not to be too frustrated with Teh, because I felt he was the one struggling the most with understanding and accepting his sexuality. But he was definitely playing too much with both Oh-aew’s and Tarn’s feelings. Despite this, both characters were relatable, and the actors did an extraordinary job. However, I have to say they both cry in a way that isn’t exactly pretty!

Please dont skip this BL!
I was really excited for this drop, and despite it having only 8 episodes, it did not disappoint. The storyline is truly compelling, complex yet relatable and the main leads have amazing chemistry. The entire cast is a visual delight.I’ll admit, Episode 7 left me a bit confused. It feels like the show leaves certain elements up to the viewer to interpret, particularly regarding the characters' past issues. For example, why does Ju Yeong put on and take off his cross necklace? Or what happend to his mom?
Do Hoe frustrated me at times, especially with how harsh he was to Ju Yeong. However, once he admitted his flaws and opened up about what truly scares him, I started seeing him differently. The show does a great job portraying family love, friendship, and the challenges adults face. There’s an easy flow to the series, balanced with plenty of humor, mostly thanks to Ju Yeong. His character is so bubbly and lovable that you can’t help but giggle when he’s on screen.
On the other hand, Hyeon Ho (aka “Mr. Walden”) has this “I hurt you because I like you” attitude that’s an absolutely no for me. However, that one call (no spoilers!) really showed how much Do Hoe truly means to him; despite everything, they are best friends, and Do Hoe knows it too.
Overall, I really enjoyed the series but wish they had included a few more details. For instance, Ju Yeong’s religious backstory could have been a major element, but the show focused so heavily on Do Hoe’s issues and traumas that Ju Yeong’s story felt a bit overlooked. But, again it's a really good series.

Sweet but not all that
I am not going the lie that the story line lacks. However, all the actors did a really good job portraying their characters even the friend that only complained and gets bully by Nam Jun. I think the bl or love component of the show gets lost in Yu Na life story way too much. I dont know if something got lost on the writer part but, the series really tries to show Ji woo journey to exploration of love and self-discovery ultimately realizing who he really loves. I still dont know if the story has a secondary couple since they failed to show that. For instance, if the second couple is the professor and Hye Won or is it Nam Jun and Min Jae. The show is most definitely not a master piece but Its a sweet pill to swallow. Was this review helpful to you?

Dont know why I waited to watch!!
Slow delight to watch. Beginning of the series they had me rolling with laugher. The actors had a beautiful chemistry. Their first kiss was playful yet intimate; almost remind the watcher of their first love. Please I urge not to skip this series. I will admit I would have love if they gave more depth and back story into Da Un family story. Also, Si won friends are truly the best besties lol.Was this review helpful to you?

?????
I enjoy watching the show; it was nice seeing some of the season 1 actors. The action scene were also good some of them a bit too long but is ok. NOW, I dont about you but I have more questions then answers so if we get another season I will be watching. I think we might since the really left the ending as an opening scene. Lots of variables that are still loose and unanswered. Was this review helpful to you?

P-I-S-S-E-D!
I am fuming! I get it I know is the prequel but they could have gave us a bit more. The actors have an amazing chemistry ; they are both very very talented. I still feel they could have expand the story a bit more. Like we all know the reason he left Ho Tae was due to the respect and love he had for his auntie yet we only saw them talk about it briefly in one episode. Was this review helpful to you?
Very Demure!
I just finish the series and I am please. I have not read the manga but, from what I hear they matched everything to the T.I'll admit this is not a serie that I would rewatch at least not right now. I felt like some aspects were rushed and some of the characters lack story time. However, the actors were amazing. No doubt in their talent.

Such a surprise
This one really surprised me! I started watching it just out of boredom—nothing too crazy at first, but it caught my attention from episode one. The actors are genuinely funny, and the whole cast (even the friends!) has amazing chemistry. A few things felt a bit lost in certain episodes, but overall, I really enjoyed watching it. I’m hoping we get a season 2—or at least one more episode—because Jiwon never told Jeong U why he quit gymnastics! Was this review helpful to you?
10/10
When I tell you episode 1 and 2 had me rolling, lol, it was funny as hell!! I loved how unserious the story is. It's easy to follow despite being short; the cast was really good. Everybody gave an amazing portrayal. The story really reminded me of that young little girl with the same dream. If you know, you know. I really enjoyed it!Was this review helpful to you?
