I don’t think the Yin-Yang connection was completely meaningless. Hua Ruyue did use her life-protecting scale to awaken BJS, just like how he gave her his own when she was pretending but actually planning to kill him. They saved each other in different ways, even if it wasn’t explained fully.
Bai Jiusui was involved in the ending it didn’t revolve around just HRY. The drama is clearly about both of them . Your view is valid, it may not be what the writers intended.
Throughout watching the drama, I really loved it despite it flaws, always tried understanding the characters and…
I get that the ending felt underwhelming to some, but I honestly saw it differently. Bai Jiusi may not have had a big final fight scene, but he made an impact in the drama.
BJS and Yue are like yin and yang. She was always more powerful, during the time when she felt weak and lost he became stronger to protect her, that balance between them was always shifting. He lost his primordial spirit and his life-protecting scale was crushed, he was never going to be that powerful again and I think the drama knew that ,It wasn’t about flashy battles but about healing and reconciliation.
It was about grief, misunderstandings, and how love can survive all of that. The ending wasn’t perfect, but it was subtle and meaningful in its own way that’s what made it stand out for me.
she would have figured that she is pregnant if they sent her to heaven, Its because BJS left her she started drinking…
He gave her chance, but that made them drift apart more. i do think if they found out she was pregnant she would be spared. it would have been different.
Have people forgotten the saying, “it’s easy to forgive but not easy to forget”? If she forgave him just like that, the story would basically be over. You could see the shock on her face when xiao jingshan f explained what happened this isn’t something the writers intend to rush. I honestly loved episode 27, now give me the next one already
No offense, am I the only one who believes that Hua Ruyue is as much or more to blame than Bai Jiusi for all that…
I don’t really think they’re to blame. She definitely suffered more in the mortal realm her actions triggered it, but he made things worse by making that decision for her and taking the law into his own hands.
Just a reminder that this is a Xianxia drama unlike K dramas, Chinese dramas typically have longer episode counts expecting 16 or 18 episodes doesn’t really fit the genre. Personally, I’ve found the story really engaging so far and I like how everything’s been unfolding. The leads also have great offscreen chemistry.
The issue here is they've written too much misunderstanding into this show, IMO this show should've been 20 episodes…
Why are you acting like they meant something bad, just like you have different opinions aren't they allowed to share theirs. This is a xianxia drama no drama genre like this has below 30 episodes.
lyk If you think about it all that happened was kind of her fault if she did not interfere in mortals life like…
Because this time she stayed with them during their love tribulation unlike bai jiu sui she couldn't ignore it. someone knew they had their differences and made them misunderstand each other.
