There is so much negativity again. So lets just talk about something positive. What are your fav high school scenes…
For me, I especially liked their moments at Beiyu Noodle Shop. The scene where Sang Yan was taking his exam, but Yi Fan still bought noodles for him in his absence, really stood out. I also loved the race track scene where he was trying to talk to her.
wow!! such strong ratings despite the flaws in the storywriting. the ratings would have been off the roof if the…
A drama can have its flaws and still achieve strong ratings. This one has earned solid ratings, which is impressive since it's tough to reach higher scores here. I'm glad so many people enjoyed it. I also believe the ending plays a significant role if this drama had ended in a weird or unsatisfying way, it probably wouldnāt have received such high ratings.
I did see people making posts here to urgently reach 9, so I guess it was done by bots but 8.9 was already there…
They mentioned why it wasnāt reaching 9 and someone else pointed out that it was at nine in the stats but wasnāt reflecting on the main orange chart. Later, when more people finished watching, the rating went back up as it deserved. Almost all modern dramas have seen their ratings increase over time.
I watch shows to the end that I don't like all the time. I do it so I can say "I've seen that." And also sometimes…
I get your point, but forcing yourself to watch a drama youāre not enjoying can be really frustrating. As for Victor Ma, from what Iāve seen, he wasnāt chosen because he said he could only play the comedic side of Sang Yan, which he did in Hidden Love. He isnāt considered a top actor in China yet, so for a high-budget drama like this, they needed someone more well-known. Based on the manhwa version I saw online, the actor they picked actually fits the role better than Victor Ma, which is likely why he wasnāt chosen. I personally liked the actor here.
I also agree with you on Kaiās dramas. I havenāt watched any of them, and Iām not really interested. I wish I could be like you and watch more dramas, but I barely even update my watchlist.
Why do people keep watching a drama they clearly donāt enjoy instead of just dropping it? This one is a slow burn with varied scenes, and the actors arenāt repeating anything. Itās just not for you.
I've watched 10 episodes so far, and I'm really enjoying the drama! The cinematography is stunning, and the OST music really adds to the atmosphere, making the whole experience even better.
I just took a glance at the reviews & saw that all the 1/10,2/10 reviews are made by new accounts (bots?)𤣅
MDL has always been filled with trolls, especially when it comes to the most popular dramas, particularly Korean ones. Sometimes, I feel like the ratings on this site donāt hold as much weight anymore.
