This drama was marketed wrongly it’s actually a slice-of-life melodrama with healing moments woven in after all that unfolds. It has more of family and friendship, with touches of romance and comedy along the way. The MDL tags can be misleading, so I hope new viewers approach it with this understanding. I enjoyed it for what it truly is within this genre.

The drama also doesn't center solely on their romance, as it leans more into the slice-of-life genre than a typical romcom. I also love the second leads, but the male lead’s character stands out as well.

I love both JungJung too, and I really enjoyed this one too! Like you mentioned, it might not be everyone’s cup of tea, but for me, the supporting characters, especially the dads, were so much fun. The drama has a cozy, neighborhood vibe, making it feel like a true family drama. And when it comes to romance, it's expected for the characters to get a bit clingy that’s just how romance dramas tend to be.
