WHAT A RIDEEE. def kept me guessing till the end. even though it was a mini drama, the writers did a really good job at tying things back together. everything was like a complete circle and everything the FL describes at the start made so much more sense. I love shows like this in any language but I find them rare in mini drama format, especially with good writing that makes it make sense. would def recommend, but u might not want to slip through certain parts as they provide important information to the story and what was going on. But WATCH IT!
I haven't watched it yet. My guess: Is it because the mother changed her past, then her son no longer exist?
basically her son that traveled to the past changed the past for his mom because her life wasn’t good in the future. He was walking to wards charging her life knowing he would disappear if he did that.
I have no words to describe what this show made me feel. Just thinking about it again makes me cry. I remember while watching I was around 5eps away from the ending and when I figure out what the ending was going to be the waterworks started and didn’t stop until I went to bed that night. It was such a bittersweet story. i was also watching this with my mom and she absolutely bawling her eyes out. I don’t know why the ratings r so low, this was such a good show. There was a whole roller coaster of emotions from the cute funny beginning and then the bittersweet ending. after finishing the show I also realized the meaning of the title which only made me cry harder. the ending was one where even though you r crying your will have a huge smile on your face. Def recommend to watch this show(if u don’t want to cry I suggest stop 5 eps before the ending)
THE ACTING OMG. the acting was amazing, the “physopathic” behavior of then ML was portrayed so well by Fan ZhiXin(if he’s in a show I always watch it). The FLs acting was really good too. In the end I was sad to see the FL leave the ML(bc it was Fan ZhiXin) to the police because yes he did a lot of questionable and also illegal stuff he still loved her in his own twisted way. This behavior obviously should not be accepted but I think it isn’t just the fact that he was “crazy”. I feel after previous relationship he wanted to build a perfect life forgetting everything in the past. and he def loved and cared for her as we saw in the ending, which is why I wouldn’t call him a psychopath per say since psychopaths feel no emotion. Even after all this the FL made a realistic band safe choice of leaving him.
Now bc it’s a drama, I think he should have been given a second chance by the Fl after he served his sentence in jail. a second chance would be dumb but here me out (ITS FAN ZHI XIN) there r many second chance dramas out there where MLs have done much worse and I feel he could chnage and bc of what we ease at he end he def changed even if a little, showing he has potential.
Let me start this off by saying if u like slow burn romance (like me) this isn’t really for u(by slow burn I mean they either realize their feelings later or have something else going on making them admit their feelings much later). they basically know their feelings for each other very early on in the show and the love triangle is still there till like 3/4 of the show but after the half way you basically find out who Ji Fanyi’s actual “partner” is going to be. Ji Fanyi and Xia La were the only reason I kept watching, they were adorable and their height difference. I skipped a bunch of the main couples parts, they were cute in the beginning but then got kind of draggy and they basically knew they liked each other but the FL “wasn’t ready for the relationship”(I really hate when they know they like the other person but pull this) when they r hugging and everything (basically doing things people do in a relationship). The show went in a completely different direction than what I was thinking but not in a pleasant way(for me). all this to say the actors really made better, even if the story wasn’t anything much they were really good! I would say watch it if u have nothing better to or just want to watch a mindless fantasy.
this is one of the only shows I’ve over 5 times and everytime the ending gets me. Like yes it’s sad bc the girl and poor and needs to support her sister but that’s the case with like every drama so it doesn’t hit as hard. when at the end the magician disappears and she basically “continues on the legacy” was magical. It was a very different kind of show from regular kdramas which r USUALLY mostly about romance. The show really brought together the struggles of growing up while showing how there is a child in everyone. I was crying the last 2 episodes, the OST was amazing and the scenes+writing was just BEAUTIFUL and STUNNING. The ending was so wholesome yet sad, but when she said “Do you believe in magic” at the end I was crying with the biggest smile on my face🥲. All this combined with the fact it was only 6eps(I think I need more jochangwook time bytnanywayyy). This is by far definitely my top drama I’ve watched.
I would like to add on this drama is not one that everyone would like, I’ve recommended it to friends and to them it was draggy and boring. it is a very particular type of drama that I feel if u understand the emotions u will REALLY LIKE, otherwise u will find it to be really boring.
Additional thing, I’m a huge Hwang inyeop girl and yes his role was very confusing in the show and sadly played not that big of a part in contributing to the story itself. BUT HE SLAYED 31 PLAYING TEENAGER. DAMN
I like the message the show tried to convey but the drama was very repetitive. Every episode was a new case. I’ve watched other shows with these actors and I love them. but the only thing that made this show really boring for me was just the repetitive cases that took 1-2 episodes to solve.
one of the best dramas made. it was so unique with aspects of people healing in different ways and just such a different kind of vibe. Loves the message, loved the actors, loved the show!
I loved this. it was cute, funny, romantic and just a perfect stereotypical cute fluffy drama with some aspects of fantasy. It was a fun non serious drama with no thinking needed nothing too complicated, just sit watch enjoy and giggle.
my first drama ever. I remember staying up so late watching it. it is so similar to the WEBTOON down to the cast. I love everything about it except the ending. #teamseojun. when he cried I was bawling my eyes out for him and still do when that scene comes up on like tiktok or something. Overall GO WATCH THE SHOW
as much as I loved the show the ending got me. made me cry for a soild hour(my bad I didn’t read the comments before). Yes there were some parts which logically made no sense but it’s a sci-fi drama logic is out the window. Even though I just said there’s meant to be no logic I didn’t understand why O was sacrificed. if was to save yan mo couldn’t they have just taken it from the ML he wouldn’t have asked any questions. Also I hate when writers make a SML that gives up the FL without going rogue and insane, LIKE EITHER MAKE ME HATE YOU OR GET WITH THE FL. the writers r always cruel for that type of a SML.
