omg holy 2010s kdrama. this was like peak k melodrama. if I were to make a list of kdramas I have cried over days for this makes top 3. if u want fluffy and cute, u get that for like 2eps before u get hit with a bus of tears and emotions and life basically. the fact this was so mature but also showed how in life u deal with these situations in such a immature way(yes even though the situation is hella unrealistic). don’t get my started on the way you could see them all healing through each other, with or with words was insane story work. the way he loved her AHHHHH like the selfless love from both of them AHHHHH. this was such a interesting watch, like I was so dang pissed off at some of the characters but other than like one or two none of the rest were really the “villains” it was like life where nothing is just bad or good there is a middle ground for everything. The synopsis is a little misleading for sure it makes it seem like a fun type drama but it’s def ain’t that. and omg the ending, WHOSE EVER IDEA WAS THAT I LOVE U IN TERMS OF THE STORY BUT LIKE FROM MY MENTAL HEALTH WTF😭. this was def a ktragedy, so like watch at your own risk, but I can’t say it was bad.
ALSO— who ever added the two lines(of writing) at the end, why do u have to fuel my tears.
Maybe because it's only available on one platform not everybody has that watch Kdramas? not sure haha
I mean ig but like even then, I never understood how people can just watch back to back depressing type of dramas, like sometimes I just need a pallete refresher, like really funny that I don’t have to think about too much
this was just pure fun(well kinda). I first thought this drama wouldn’t connect with me bc like I’m not married how would I understand and why would I care. but liek this somehow made me connect so deeply with the characters in only 12 episodes(which was like really short for 2017), and I understood them idk how or why but the show made me feel so connected. and it wasn’t like melodramatic, they were having fun and somehow connected back with each other, it was perfect. there were some parts about the college friends that I felt like I didn’t care about but even then. it was so so sooo funny, I could see the character growth, and it wasn’t like over the top unrealistic(other than the fact they traveled back in time). the story about the girls mom made me cry too it was actually so sad. and THEIR SON IS SO CUTE LIKE IN THE END WHEN HE IS TALKING WOTH THE GRANDPARENTS OMG. just go watch and enjoy is all I can say.
guys screw the bad reviews, legit just watch it. sure it has its bad parts but they are so minuscule that the fun and cute parts cover it all. and people found the side stories to take over too much but I feel like that was the point of this show, it’s like a realist(as much as u can get with a kdrama) day in a life type of situation. Every life like story has the major side characters and stories that makes it unique and develops not only the characters but also the relationship. also I’m so surprised how there was no PDA, and lowkey I’m kinda glad bc the age gap was a lot. but at the end it was so fun to watch, and I didn’t even realize when the end came so close
why this is rated so low, I really don’t know. this was so freckingggg entertaining omggg. this show wasn’t a 10 and like story, acting and all that technical stuff obviously wasnt like extraordinary but it was entertaining, entertaining like I couldn’t stop watching, every episode I was laughing till my stomach hurt, and don’t get me started about the narration in the background, she was so damn funny and said everything I ever wanted to say. I have this little saying I made up about dramas. sometimes what people call “bad” dramas are the most entertaining things out there. and bad In the sense that like it’s cringe, not realistic, bad story, all that technically type stuff. and I also have another belief that sometimes I just want a entertaining cliche done right. by done right I mean just entertaing AF. this was that and hella entertaining brainless Cinderella cliche trope and I love that about this. I would give this a 8/10 but like if I want to recommend it to someone this is like a just don’t think and go watch, like don’t overthink it and just watch it u won’t regret it.
okay pretty good drama. there was nothing extraordinary about. I like that the story line kept going and didn’t just feel stuck in one place. the physiological twist could have been a little more deeper bc it didn’t really give that physiological vibe u get from these shows, but it doesn’t hurt the drama much. I didn’t feel like I was pushing myself to watch it which is a big plus these days. the leads had great chemistry and I really enjoyed the mangers relationship as well. this was def watchable nothing that stands out to me but definitely a good watch.
why was this so good. usually I find historical dramas too political and the story just dies out for me. but this was the opposite, idk how it did it but it had the politics there but the story kept going and they weren’t just stuck on one topic. it was halrious but also so cute at times. I really felt connected to all the side characters(the good ones) and it was just sooooo entertaining. and don’t get the started on the last fight after they dethroned the king and all the cooks came and everyone who supported the king OMG THAT WAS MY HIGHLIGHT I WAS SO HAPPY. I liked the villains were villains but like they didn’t just reveal every thing the villains were doing which I find a lot of historical dramas to do that just defeat the purpose, they keep the mystery and you slowly find out with the characters which I find makes u feel part of their team(idk that’s how it feels). i mean over all just such a entertaining watch from the romance to the politics to the comedy I had the time of my lifeeeee. do yourself a favor and just watch it.
unexpecteddddddd. omg I started this thinking it’s gonna be like a bum nonsensical drama. BUT OMG WAS I WRONG. this was so gosh darn cuteeee. like it gives the spring vibes that it’s going for. and ahn bohyun ate his role up he looked so fine and cute at the same time, his role was such a green flag. the comedy was off the charts i was laughing so much. and the romance felt not just out of nowhere, all the characters had their backstories and everything but at the same time it wasn’t the thing that like takes over half the drama, it focuses a lot on their relationship while keeping their backstory there which i find a lot of dramas have forgotten how to do. I LOVE THE NEPHEW, the other teachers were halrious and entertaining to watch. If u don’t watch this show idk what u r gonna watch in 2026. GO WATCH RN
where do I start. this was what I was craving. it feels like it’s been centuries since we have gotten a more enemies to lovers but like not the youth version a older version but still not like melodrama. this was so cute and fun. the chemistry between the high school actors OMG I NEED THEM AS THE MAIN COUPLE ON DRAMA THEY R MADE FOR EACH OTHER. and I loved how they didn’t just go in chronological order where u see their past and then how it plays out, it was fun to be in the dark, it really kept me engaged in the story. also all the flashbacks to them in like elementary were so cute and funny(also the girl that played the younger version during the racing scene is so pretty). I also felt this drama connected me to the other characters more than just the main lead which I also haven’t felt in the newer dramas that have been coming out recently. it was a little immature considering in the show they were both in their late 30s but it was nice and everything was just fun and chaotic and I was laughing so much. I wouldn’t say this was some extraordinary drama, no, but it was really cute and enjoyable and overall a fun thing to watch.
this show was actaully so bad it was good. like some parts made zero sense and the whole MLs family stuff and the whole show was so damn chaotic but so damn entertaining. the acting was decent and the characters were all weird and like dynamic was no where to be found. but like again that’s what’s so good it’s the fact it was pure entertainment not too much thinking. I was laughing, wanting to punch people while at the same time falling in love. the best way to describe this would be a a adult version(kinda more mature but not really) of a high school messy drama where they are just homie hopping and confused and just young dumb kids.
okay it started off really really stron . it was funny and cute, a little pedo yes. it kept me going for like half the drama but like after that there was nothing. drama wise they were just yapping and doing surgereys and nothing exciting for fun happened. relationship wise the love triangle was very quickly resolved and there were like no problems but they were in the relationship and not at the same time. it was like I was just watching some doctors daily life. the character development was really good but like man it’s a drama if it’s not entertaining like idk what the point it.
I really liked it. like alotttt. but like after ep15 it got a little boring and like Yeha I understand it’s them understanding and developing their feeling and what not but those parts were just not as entertaining. everyone was sad and depressed and lowkey got boring! the bickering scenes were peak(maybe thats just me) it was still watchable after 15 though but i had to really convince myself. other than that amazing show with great characters fun story line, not much PDA, and good acting.
hear me out rating wise this show is a 7.5/10 but that does not mean it’s bad. it’s only 12 eps so decently short and very engaging. like it was funny, kinda unique and just a fun watch. like eveything about the drama was good but not extraordinary or amazing. the story had a crap ton of holes that were not filled and did make me kinda sad as I was kinda intrigued in the fantasy aspect of it. but again don’t take this negatively it is a definite watch bc people need it understand sometimes bad shows can be the most entertaining ones out there and that’s okay.(this show is not bad I was just saying it as like a saying, it’s on the better side of some of these types of shows I’ve watched) SO GO WATCH IT
omg this show needs to be talked about sooooo much more. this is def top 10 best nonfantasy dramas out there. like the comedy is topnoch, the story was so well written and kept you going through the show. it didn’t feel like a burden, I wanted it to keep going and never end. I find a good drama makes you feel like a part of its world and this did just that. The characters not just main leads changed throughout and you could see them grow and adapt. and don’t get me started about cha seung won he is so effortlessly funny, any drama he is in you know it’s gonna be so damn good. and kong hyojins dramas are just so god story and plot wise it’s insaneeeeee. please DO ME A FAVOR and watch this show, I enjoyed every second of this.
it was cute funny snd the couple was fun. the love triangle was classic kdrama style with the ml being kinda in love with two girls but like not really. the last like 3 eps were really boring and i was watching on like 3x speed. I also think the brother was a character they would have developed further and a more significant part in the story line. would for sure reccomend giving it a try.
OMG I LOVE THIS.how have I never heard of this before. actaully don’t even look at the ratings. like idk about technical stuff like story production acting blah blah, all I can say is I had the time of my life. the bickering was so cute, and their chemistry was also so cute. the story line was soo engaging and not like too much side plots. the slow burn didn’t just end at like ep8 it kinda kept going and I love how they sorted their problems out and you could see the characters grow.even though I’d give the show a 8.5/10 but to recommend 10/10 it’s one of the most entertaining second chance romances I’ve seen to date.
