So isn't technically the 2nd Joe the stand-in? We never get to know anything about him. What about his story? I still think this would have been better without the body switch plot. Maybe surgeries or something after the accident would have been better. It's a story similar with Highschool return of a gangster which I can't really say I like that much. Let's say the actors made us ask no questions because they are good and we love them. π
They can't be all interested in one another. Something is off. But honestly YJ and MK really do look like fitting together, the style and personality somehow. Of course sounds like bl drama also. And Hwi really got cuter and cuter by this episode.
I'm not sure about the ending though... To me feels a bit off. I get the second chance part and all but still, is that even morally right? He just decided there's no energy left in him to live?
Why are the fans always against the bad guy? He's bad but there'd be no story without the villain. Ming's progression as a character is what makes the series. Joe is already a good guy, he's there just for the happy ending as a payback. Besides love is not that simple, otherwise people wouldn't do crazy stuff for it even in real life. π
I'm so used to this trope because I watch a lot of Chinese costume dramas lol. Thankfully it has me trained, so…
I'm still trying to accept it. I simply forget about it until 2nd Joe comes up a bit from time to time. I wonder what is their connection actually. I'm not reading spoilers yet. π
Everything would make so much more sense if Joe had some plastic surgery after the accident or something like that to be unrecognizable. In fact that's a different body, a different person even if we see the same face on screen, the characters don't. If his real body vanished, how will it go by the end? This concept of body possession after death always confuses me. π
Can we actually focus on the story here? If it turns into a BL then that's just another drop to their situation: bullying, the overbearing father, alcoholism, gangs and so on. It may be a drama set in high school but it's not for children. It kinda makes you forget the supernatural touch since reality hits so hard.
It feels like kindergarteners in adult bodies... The only thing I like about this situationship is the glasses guy. I'm not even sure there is a story in it. The rating is too high in my opinion. Sorry...
