I kind of think the switch and all that is not necessary. The plot is good without it, I feel like the next part won't fit and can get a bit sloppy. We'll see. But the acting is definitely at it's finest, especially for thai dramas. Up and Mek as villains is something I didn't know I need and I completely forgot their past roles while watching.

The power of hairstyle and beard can't be described more than in this case. He's handsome in both styles anyway, I'm just confused how is he 35 and 22 at the same time. 😅

This is my first philippino drama ever and it was all so new. It was cute and also the plot is quite nice but also serious and deep. I recommend it for BL lovers for sure.

So it was just a very long commercial? Interesting gadget though. But as drama it was bad, you're way too generous really.

Just to end this topic: what I meant about "ended up being just about BL thing" was that the story is good and is a shame got caught in politics/censorship/internet debate and all the stuff related to LGBTq in an unfair world. You people should really pay more attention to context and ask before attacking people if there is some misunderstanding. I didn't realize what's the problem until I just reread my comment and I was really confused why it stirred up such a fuss.
On a more serious note this goes beyond defending a drama and I assume you're probably just too young still.

I agree would have been a great BL and if made by Taiwan we'd be in owe but it is what it is. Bluntly speaking. 😅

But the author did accept it. I'll give my opinion on it after I actually finish the novel. 😅
But if you ask me I do believe there are the hints in the series, it's not a straight drama per se. I get that it's bothering people that is censored, but most of the world is like this, I can't really imagine a BL on TV in my country. So in my opinion this is actually rebellious for a country like China. OK this is deviating from the topic I guess. 😅

But if the author wouldn't accept this as a compromise, the story wouldn't get so much attention. It's China, you are a bit unreasonable. Not to mention a bit childish, just imagine some kissing and NC, not hard with so much BL data in our brains. I don't know, it just didn't bother me much, maybe everyone has different feelings about it. And I do think the Titanic couple tried to get the focus from the tragedy. 😂

As said, I have little knowledge about this. But seemed well done to me. No idea what a big budget is in terms of Asian dramas to be honest.

I give extra points for Yeon Seok's silliness. It was quite funny. I wonder now how the actor is in real life. 😅

The only thing that could save this series is the lovey lovey touchy touchy stuff which are not happening and is already episode 8...

Honestly it felt weird. The story almost wasn't there at all. The only couple that had chemistry turned into a 3P without any of it. I barely skimmed through it to see the ending. But Shogun is really handsome, though that can't really make up for the entire series. I think the ratings are too high for this one. Not the worst for sure but not over 7 stars either.

Taiwan makes great BL series and some of them are on my top list. But this is definitely not one of them, I'm sorry to say. The rating is way too generous here.

I give all the credit to Fluke being extremely handsome and cute at the same time. I wasn't even paying attention to the storyline or acting. For me they could have filmed him doing random stuff for 8 episodes and I would watch. 😂

The plot is so and so and there's bad quality overall. Buuuuut they have good chemistry in a cute way and their clumsiness feels kinda real so that made it worth watch. And Krom is cute also. I rate it average but people should try it for the couple.

It started well and now it's going nowhere. The bad acted scene with the ladder fall ... that's not allowed anymore after the bl standard got so high even for thai ones.

Honestly in my opinion the series is not that great. I like the idea of the plot, characters are cute but something is missing. At least after the first 2-3 episodes. I rate it as average and definitely better than some other ongoing BLs at the moment. 😁
