Didn’t Expect to even like It — But Here I Am, Giving It a 10.
I’m hesitating to give it a 10, but honestly? I don’t see why I shouldn’t.
It’s not like KinnPorsche or My Stand-In (my personal 10/10s) — this one isn’t dark or full of dangerous rich people, which is usually my vibe.
I never thought I’d like this show when I saw the trailer. Countryside BLs aren’t my thing — I usually don’t mess fw them at all.
The only reason I even gave this a chance was because of PoomSaint. But along the way, I realized... even if I dropped all the other ongoing Thai BLs, I was still watching this every single Friday. No matter what.
It had a way of keeping me on edge at the end of every episode.
Sure, some parts felt incomplete — like KaewEarn’s arc, or the fact that we never saw Yo and Jom’s parents meet. I kinda felt like those scenes should’ve been included.
But weirdly, I don’t even see that as a drawback — maybe it leaves room for a special episode or spin-off?
Some story beats moved fast too — like Jom’s father’s sudden redemption, or even P’Thee’s switch-up.
But the thing is — unlike so many other Thai BLs where I’m obsessed after the trailer and first few eps and then halfway through I’m like:
“Bro... how many eps are left? When is this ending??”
This one was the total opposite. I didn’t expect anything at the start.
The first few eps weren’t exactly mind-blowing, but I still wanted to keep watching. And when I hit episode 12 I was like,
“Wait—this is ending?? Already??”
I’m satisfied.
And the best part?
No spamming the story with random NC scenes.
It gave what it needed to give.
