those who know i commented like a million times in this drama while it was airing. I was so freaking excited and waited for the longest time for each week to get aired. But guess what, i couldn't finish ep 22. It was only 30 minutes+ but i felt like the plot just forced its way into an ending of romance. I most prob think they will end up together, and the concept of the angst was great but it was wasted potential and plot since they're still gonna end up together anyway. i honestly think they wouldn't have an entire development arc in these short eps, since its lightly brushed over in ep 19-21. If done right, this show has to have a character development arc because naeon just suddenly became good all of a sudden??? and the ml just suddenly doesn't hate her and blablabla. everything was skipped over and character development was literally zero. could have been an amazing drama but it was not.

i am sorry but i dropped this half way 😭 unlike other people i think the first half of the story is not boring at all. But right after they got together, they suddenly whip out a dark trauma story which is the reason i dropped. I understand it was for plot purposes, (well maybe if there's not that the drama could have been 8 eps) but i honestly do not think its necessary. I do not think they have to whip out the trauma plot to make it interesting for the rest of the eps. Their relationship is cute but very cringy at times.

I don't really like the main characters lol. Story wise is interesting but the characters just pisses me off especially fl and ml. ML looks so douchy and FL is very cringy and annoying. Side characters arcs are ok, thought the story w/ kyoko and the chef dude was kinda icky for me, not my fav. My absolutely fav side couple is the girl w the sugar daddy and the convenience store guy. Though not much development going on with them, it's still very cute because they don't fight for stupid reasons (unlike the main couple)

Not me continuing this series right after the impossible heir ending because lee jun young in that series was too wicked and I needed to see a light side of him lol.

Yes this drama has flaws (not in depth side characters, etc) but i still enjoyed it. Big part of why this drama left a long lasting impression in my mind is because of the actors & the ost. Like omg, KDM and CWS has amazing chemistry! This drama made me cry every few episodes, and i totally recommend this drama to people who dont think too much and enjoy the "second chance" trope with beautiful cinematography and angst.
