The eps are prob too less to be having smooth pacing. Things have to be sped up in order to conclude the story. Also I noticed ppl are having double standards on pacing on shows. No shade to fwyf, but the other day when I commented on one particular BL that has horrendous pacing I get jumped just because it was such a highly rated drama 😭

The mystery solving and etc will involve guang Ming and jia hua, so we'll Def get them to interact. I'm guessing with only 9 eps all we will be getting is them with the main cp. However, I'm guessing probably some tension will happen because the note Jia hua left on the bed for guangming hasn't been revealed yet, and they say it's a plotline.
If s2 is happening, and if we get a chance to focus of second cp, there will be Def a lot of angst because their relationship is so complicated (more complicated than main cp I would say) and I would gladly let it marinate.
i heard the real story yu lei together with ou yang han instead, but the novel is HE
Ikrr I was absolutely flabbergasted when I heard the real life version of the characters (it's an autobiography! It's based on the author's relationship) that yulei and oo ended up tgt and Chen ke lived his own life afterwards. However, in the novel Chen ke and yulei has a happy ending.
tbh that shower joke was not at all funny it just shows the mentality of the writer and the producer
Don't think it's supposed to be funny. It's a story based on the author's true experience so they're probably trying to capture it as real as possible.
Actually the title you translated is correct, just prob the wrong material lol. I checked out the original book (it's quite an old one) there's definitely gonna be trauma 😭 It's also very autobiography coded,so that's def something I'm not familiar with reading.
