SWEET & ADORABLE BUT BIT LOST & LONG

⭐Overall Rating: 7.7 / 10

Just completed this drama, and overall, it’s a good watch!

The premise drew me in: the unique romantic setup between a stand-up comedian FL and a man who feels no emotions was both refreshing and intriguing. The show started strong and kept me engaged for the first 14–15 episodes.

However, it noticeably dragged during the middle 6–7 episodes, to the point where I genuinely considered dropping it. The pacing dipped, and it felt repetitive and boring. Thankfully, it picked up again toward the end and wrapped up nicely.

💫 Highlights
The acting and chemistry between the leads were excellent.

The FL was incredibly adorable — her smile felt truly magical.

The stand-up comedy segments sprinkled throughout were a nice touch.

The OST (intro & outro) were both a banger — very catchy and memorable.

I also really enjoyed the secondary couple’s storyline (2nd FL and 2nd ML) — their romance was sweet and emotionally engaging.

⚠️ Minor Gripes
The drama felt stretched in the middle; it could’ve been tighter with fewer episodes.

I’m not a fan of certain melodramatic tropes, especially the ones involving:

Sudden breakups with "hidden reasons."

One-sided feelings that get unintentionally encouraged by the FL, especially when it’s obvious that the second lead likes her.

Despite those flaws, I’m glad I pushed through. The ending made it worth it.

💭 Final Thoughts
An adorable drama with standout performances and great chemistry. Worth a watch — just be patient with the middle slump!

About Friendship & Female empowerment in Historical drama

This Drama is more of a friendship, historical parody and female empowerment drama than a romantic comedy.
It was Okay Drama and 1 time watchable.
I liked the 5th prince couple and their journey; the 3rd prince's comedy was good.
The main couple are cute and has good chemistry, but don't expect much of romance, cause most of it is either in the first 10 episodes or the last few episodes.

Disclaimer:
Don't try to find logic or any bit of Realism.
Will not recommend it for exclusive romance or romantic comedy drama watchers.
Overall rating: 7.5✨

A DRAMA WITH LOST POTENTIAL

Have Mixed feelings about this Drama.
It's not bad or the best. The Actors did their best, and the Music was good, too.
The story may be good on paper, but the mixed screenplay and pacing let this drama down.
I wanted to like this drama, and I really liked the Main leads, their cute Chemistry and all the side characters, but I couldn't connect with them emotionally.
I am generally very emotional and excited about Melodrama but I didn't feel those emotions here,
Tho, I felt sad in some parts but didn't cry or feel emotional. For some Odd reason, it reminded me of "It's okay to be not okay" drama a lot, tho these two different types of Drama.
Overall it is a Good drama for Spare Time or in a Drama slump.
My Overall Rating: 7.5

Far Better than 1st , Low expections High comdey ( don't trust the other reviews )

Guys don't trust the other reviews here :)
Watch it without any bias or expectations.
I watched 1st season & just completed 2nd but for me, 2nd is much better than the 1st season.
I rated the 1st season 7.0 bc I didn't like the show & too overrated, only continued bc of Lee Yi Kyung. other characters were annoying as Hell.
Lee Yi Kyung was also the reason I watched the 2 season but unexpectedly it was far better than the first one. I laughed my ass off many times, last 3 episodes are the only okay episodes but other than that every episode was fun.
My rating for 2 nd season is 8.5
P.S: Try to keep ur expectations LOW, u will truly love it

Drama Review: Lovely Runner

🌟My Rating: 9.0/10

It really surprised me. I started watching, thinking it would be just another fantasy idol romance—but it turned out to be so much more 💔. It's a heartwarming, emotional rollercoaster with the perfect mix of fantasy (time travel!), romance, comedy, and melodrama 🥹 .
So, the story follows a disabled girl who is the biggest fan of a top K-pop idol from the band Eclipse, who dies unexpectedly. The story revolves around their Past, Their Love & mystery of the idol's death.

There are many PROS & CONS to the Story.

✅ PROS:
The main leads have amazing chemistry, and both actors nailed their roles.

Even the side characters were well-developed

The OST is phenomenal—seriously, it gives life to every emotional moment.

Cinematography, sets, locations, and dialogues are all top-notch.

The emotions hit hard—some scenes stay with you.

❌ CONS:
The pacing gets slow at times, especially in the middle episodes.

There are a few scenes with weak or repetitive screenplay that could’ve been tighter.

Honestly, it felt like a 16-episode story stretched a bit—it could’ve been perfect at 14.

Too many clichés in some parts (yes, the usual K-drama tropes!), and some emotional beats got a bit repetitive.

I was ready to give it a 10/10 after the first few episodes, but some dragging brought it down a bit.

Despite those few issues, Lovely Runner is a must-watch for anyone who loves emotional, heartfelt stories with a fantasy twist. It’s not just about idols or romance—it’s about love, loss, hope, and second chances.

If you love time-travel romances with emotional depth, great acting, and a beautiful message about second chances and fate, you’ll enjoy this one. 🌙💫

It's a drama that stays with you long after it's over 🥹✨
Definitely worth the watch! 💯
