A Real Pain to Watch
Watching this series was honestly such a pain for me, I’m sorry to say. At first, the “enemies to lovers” aspect was quite nice, but after that… oh my God. He’s one of the worst characters I’ve ever seen in a BL. Honestly, I couldn’t even finish the series because he annoyed me so much. And knowing he ends up with Mark makes me feel sick.
Also, I really didn’t appreciate the sexual assault scene. That completely ruined it for me and made me even more uncomfortable with the story.
That being said, I really enjoyed the acting and the characters of Mark and Nuea. But the rest was just really hard to watch. I feel bad that this series managed to make me so angry. Mark, in particular, is just so unbearable.
I don’t recommend it.
