Extremely entertaining and aesthetically pleasing! Like everyone, very reluctant to say goodbye. Amazing chemistry with many well-groomed scenes that highlights emotions of characters. I was captivated seeing the trailer but much more impressed watching the whole drama. It is indeed worth the hype š¤
The show has been quite enjoyable and I donāt mind the pacing at all. I just feel it has been giving time and space to appreciate to the whole tea culture, the customs of Ming dynasty portraying here. In a way you can feel the productionās painstaking effort to build up a beautiful landscape for the whole drama. And I bet the beauty of tea culture is also one of the focus the production hope to engage viewers with. Anw I just feel for this type of drama, the pacing is just right or it would feel like too insignificant like one of those instant noodle drama haha But then and again, I do hope they donāt cram and try to squeeze too much for the end @@ which is quite common
I also think they will unite in the future as they made peace w each other and their current partner(friend) also encouraged them to find each other again:)
First I think the show is not for someone who is looking for a light-hearted fluffy romance or an easy watch to get away from reality. Don't get me wrong, it is not a difficult watch or particularly heartbreaking. I just think it is easier for a more mature audience group to appreciate the story and resonate with the characters. And you wonāt be disappointed if you are into a drama with taste, artistic vibe, thought-provoking story line that lingers with us for sometime. Music, cinematography, frames, color tone are very well done and executed it feels like watching a movie at times. There are ups and downs, obstacles here and there that might feel cliche at times but the story flows well enough and it is understandable and logical for each character to react the way they were scripted here. I really enjoyed how the story unfolds overall even with all the spoilers that the ending is not exactly a HE and I really hate unnecessary dramas and BE for romance dramas. Many comments here blame the fm but they failed to remember that she is someone strong with her own ideals and she is not someone who only seeks security and comfort through marriage (or else she would have chosen the guy that her mom introduced when she went back to her hometown after their first breakup or she wouldnāt have fallen in love with a jobless guy in the first place tbh) And I agreed that itās very funny to try to blame which character is responsible for their fallout as if there has to be something wrong with one of them. If there is anything, as the introduction, Iād say that it is life, circumstances, expectations and traditions that twisted their fate. In any case if you are looking for a drama w style and something different but still romantic and idealistic at its core, try it. Donāt be disheartened by the score or reviews. Lastly, Iām not a fan of Wang Anyu or Wang Yu wen but Iāll definitely follow their future projects after this drama. They nailed it very well. So if youāre a fan of these actors and ready for a more mature romance, donāt miss this piece!

I donāt understand why the rating is not above 8. This is quite a good and engaging watch though it couldāve been better developed. It is a thrilling Sci-fi tackling on moral aspects of technology that is claimed to make life better by human when being developed only to be disposed at humanā s convenience upon realizing that their creation deviates from their desired purpose. I watched it because I want to see how SWL, the leading actor performs and I really have no regrets. His performance is getting much better and the rest of the cast did well too. I am perfectly fine with the length, the whole plot and how the story unfolds. Maybe a longer version can do more justice to the emotional building aspect of the drama but it is a Sci-fi anw, and I personally feel that Sci-fi should be succinct and not overly emotional. Forget the ratings and Just give it a try!
Only 4episodes but love it so far! A die-hard romcom fan, I didnāt expect much when I started watching this but this very common plot is done quite well Iām a little taken aback. Apart from the comical notes here and there, the unexpected chemistry of the leads ( I mean I didnāt think it works out when I saw the actor and actress but it is surprisingly good so far), the drama manages to weave in lots of social issues in Asian society context like cyber haters, women vs career, modern marriage values, family values, taking care of the elders , etc. Watching it as an adult and as a mother, there are many moments I felt deeply touched. Canāt wait for next ep! And I really love SMA here! No one can resist her charm!

Haha I completely feel you! Iām the type who canāt stand clip hanging and can drop everything to finish the eps (ć_ļ¼) Now Iām trying to distract myself with other dramas but nothing can actually go into my head and I keep thinking when I should start watching this lol
Though there are things that couldāve been done better and situations that are a bit forced, overall I think it is quite well done. I love how the emotional scenes are handled and executed here esp when they inserted ost at climax. It feels different from other modern romance Cdramas Iāve watched (though I donāt watch many modern romance Cdramas in the first place) but it is quite enjoyable for me, a romance drama fan :) Somehow, it reminds me of Long vacation, my fav Japanese romance drama. Iām not sure why, maybe itās the way the ost was inserted in the emotional scenes and the way the leads have the urge to run to see each other right there and then haha. Needless to say the soundtracks are very nice too, not too cheesy ;) I like the leads performance too and the story in general. I donāt think the characters are illogical at all.
