This is one of the best dramas I’ve watched in recent years, a masterpiece leaving you that lasting melancholic unease to say goodbye.
It has all the elements for a hit: logical characters, beautiful soundtrack, aesthetically satisfying frames, appreciation for the beauty of seasons and Oriental culture, deeply engaging and well-woven plot, well-thought narration with many meaning layers embedded to each details, leading viewers from one to another wonder; and last but not least, the most impressive touch that I value most in any narration: a sensible framework to navigate human relationships and feel for each souls, and a highly perceptive and humanistic view of women against fate, life &hardships, one that deeply resonates to us, women in the present time. A drama made for and dedicated to women.
Found myself deeply feel for each female character portrayal and their tales here… and pondering about life, courage, commitment, compassion and hardships.
Truly recommend this drama to all the lady’s, especially those with their own families
