I think it has nothing to do with Thailand, or you mean it gets to stream on Thailand platforms? The same producer and author made the drama--much shorter and low budget--10 years agoand this time she gets to make maybe the whole story into this drama.
If you enjoy beautiful and lovely interactions between the two male leads, just go and watch their videos on websites like tiktok and bilibili. Do watch some cuts from the TV series with the original background music--because it's really matching . Some of the scenes are really beautiful, poetic and atmospheric. As for it's bl or bromance, it's personal. For me, it's bl-coded; just pay attention to the details and subtleties, like those hand touching, staring and also how youku presents their trailers.

Hope later on, uncut version would come out. It's still possible. For now, it seems that a lot of people--from another fanbase--are reporting this drama, and youku decides to cut scenes in order to avoid troubles. We'll see.

I really like the actor of the father. At first, he freaked me out when I watched The Long Season. And then I watched Under the Microscope, he didn't feel creepy to me at all, and I really liked his shift in this drama. When I found him here, I was happy because he was really a wonderful actor who could portray so many different roles.

I hope that things can get better and more shows, be it bromance or bl, can come out, acted by Chinese actors and spoken in Chinese--but this is my own preferences.
Generally speaking, I would say, its existence is much better than its non-existence. I have watched ep 4, and I am glad some parts of this story are portrayed beautifully and even poetically.

And when you watch shows like this, you should be more imaginative and I would say the crew have already made their best to let it out and the so-called scenes are still there on the Internet, so either you use your imagination to put it in the story, or you watch the full episodes like bilibili--I hear those scenes are still there on bilibili's versions.
From my pov, it's clear that the whole crew have put a lot of effor into portraying their relationships in beautiful ways, let alone both actors are really handsome in their unique ways. Hope you can still enjoy it.
