Exactly 👏 I'm sure a good portion of the MM viewers are here from or because of ALP (myself included ahahah) and both shows are amazing in their own magic ways and maybe MM will get more people to watch ALP, so that's always a plus, but I feel like it's inevitable that people will bring up ALP since this is a spinoff ......

To the die hard ALP fans out there - nobody is bashing that drama, please calm down. Like I said before, you can like a drama and still struggle with some parts of it. ALP was amazing, but it had things with which I struggled, but it's still an amazing drama. MM is a wonderful drama, but also, it has some parts I am not a fan of. It happens 🤷‍♀️

not necessarily, ALP is still a great drama, but not without flaws ( as well as MM, it also has them). You can still like a drama and struggle with some parts of it 🤷‍♀️

Yes, agreed 💯 FL is a good actress and I have nothing against her, but I just couldn't warm up to her as Shanggu, Xu Kai as Bai Ju - pretty boring tbh, AND they totally lost me with the last ark 🤦‍♀️

I get it, and the story will probably attempt doing that, but for me the writers went to far with her, they made her a very wicked person, like I find it hard to believe they'll make me like her, girl killed innocent people in very sadistic ways and was enjoying torturing her victims, so nope 😭😭😭

Oh I agree with you, the main leads were kind of a train-wreck for me 😭, maybe cause their story was super dragged out, for me personally I liked the main leads ark when the ML reincarnated and was this silly pure cutie 60K years later, but other than that it was hard to watch then, but I rolled because in my very early cdrama days and I was very patient then, now I'm very picky ahahaha TQ added so much life to whole drama for me, and YM as well, I loved them very much and they looked amazing together 🤩🤩🤩 I still can't believe ALP got 2 spin offs now 🤩🤩🤩

Yeah, I'm sooo tempted, it's been a while since I saw ALP that's why I'm rusty with the character chart and it doesn't help that they changed the names, but still, Yuemi & Tianqi were my favourites there 😭😭😭
