The screen writer is more important but I trust in Yuan's ability to make logical changes for the script to be smoother and better :D It seems (from the BTS and fan accounts) that he has quite a say in many scenes.

i think just the styles are similar, their vibes are totally different. DJX's charm is hard to copy.

I'm fine with it actually as long as we have new materials. DNAD has very good team too (same screenwriter as Storm Chaser and that drama was a hit) so the story will be interesting. I haven't read it because i don't have the translated version here. I heard it's very complex though, male centric, sword/martial arts, has many arcs and characters. ML's description is also suitable for our Yuan because the eyes are important (i gotta say maybe our boys' eyes are famous amongst the directors circle lol)

Pretty good but it needs suitable casting for FL. FL has martial art talents, very strong in battle fields, speak with fists first talk later, but still very smart, disguised as a male general (in the beginning). Not many c-actress can play this role well I fear.
ML is the opposite: sick person, expected to die young, also very smart, smooth talker, got saved by FL at 10 then lost contact until 11 years later. FL is 7-8 years older than ML. (personally i think CZY will nail this role)

ofc but it won't prevent me from being happy from seeing these signs of airing. i'm most certain it will be aired before TWOT anyway.
