Let me tell you one more tea. Dilraba and ZLS are eternal enemies in C-ent (facts). It all started with The Long Ballad (a costume drama) which has D as FL and ZLS as 2nd FL. The ML was Wu Lei. This drama flopped considering its big investment but ZLS got so much recognition thanks to her role in this drama. People shipped her with Wu Lei more than the FL (D). The worst thing for D fans was ZLS and Wu Lei got together again in another costume drama (Love like the galaxy) and this was a big hit both domestically and internationally. And it made D fandom so bitter until this day.
So how does HL play in this? let's connect the dot. HL is a big modern hit. HL's FL is ZLS and ML is CZY. So if D's modern drama with CZY doesn't do well, it's a critical hit to D fans because history will repeat itself with modern drama.
That's why they were doing their best to get him out of that role lol

if it's true that he rejected it, it just means the benefit isn't worth the troubles. and the billing was an excuse to reject it. Dilraba's drama were never that great because of her bad acting skills., not to mention, it's female centric... yeah not worth it.

You know why they hate it? because it was the same crew that made Lost you forever (Yang Zi starred in it) and they are afraid their idol can not surpass it => Dilraba losing to Yang Zi. if you don't know, Yang Zi and Dilraba are known rivals and both fandoms hate each other. Dilraba fandom also hate Zhao Lusi because she got the spotlight over Dilraba in another drama where ZLS is just supporting role and Dilraba is FL. It is one of the reasons they hate seeing CZY acting with Dilraba . Because HL got so popular so they're also afraid that Dilraba couldn't surpass HL with the same ML -> Dilraba losing to ZLS. (Dilraba lost once to ZLS already with Wu Lei so they don't want history repeats itself lol)

C-ent is complicated though because actors can get blacklisted easily if they don't follow the rules. CZY and CCTV currently have good relationship so maybe some fans don't want to ruin it due to something not his fault. I'm not talking about the interviews, there are leaks of their stage which was cut and not allowed to be aired. That's the one fans are telling people to delete.

yup... cent is very complicated. one can have connections are from different sources:
- you graduate from a famous art/acting school so you get connections from the alumni/professors/teachers who are working in the same industry
- you're from a family with movie/acting background
- you join a good company and they see your potentials and decide to push you
- you started from nothing but you gained connections through your own effort and hard work.
