1. Its LGBTQ/queer not BL.2. Author is famous and is nominated for two international book awards.3. Movie is done…
Then ig the rage started because it was supposed to air on TV(along with all the other factors you mentioned of course) ?
Though i have to disagree on the part you said that BLs don't portray real gay struggles... I won't lie the industry has very homophobic roots of fetishizing queer relationships and promoting heteronormativity and the impacts of those roots are very much visible to this day in the fandom as well as well as in the shows themselves but I have to say that there are actually some BLs that do portray queer issues(The first one that comes to my mind is I told sunset about you pt1)
Ohh and the discussion of queer themes is the reason this became my most-anticipated show

Isn't this gonna release on tv too? That's another reason why people are mad about this one in particular
And idk how someone came up with this idea considering there have actually been homophobic protests in Korea before at pride parades and even for some shows (eg Life is beautiful, Daughters of Bilitis)
it wiil be on Viki, so please chill. I cannot understand the purpose of being afraid of the drama being cancelled…
It will be on viki yes and we don't need to worry about the release for the CONTENT. But yk what is more important? Queer representation in mainstream media. How long are we going to censor the very existence of queer people that are not just made for comedic relief?
does Q20 mean day 20 of filming all the scenes from that specific location?
Not really, it just means the filming day... Whether they complete all the scenes from a specific location on that day depends on how many scenes there are from that location...
"Could this be an accident, or perhaps it’s a murder? " It's both. An announcement that was ACCIDENTALLY uploaded centuries before the release date to MURDER our hope and cause us trust issues🥲🥲
