Im going to explode if I see more people compare each and every season to season 2. Istg even if they rebrand the show, season 2 will still be mentioned somehow.

Im gonna explode if I keep seeing people compare everything to season 2. Even if they rebrand the show they going to bring up season 2 and keep barking saying the PD is obsessed with trying to recreate it. Like I love season 2 but there's no need to compare it like your comparing a show with actors, it's a dating show not a drama. They got lucky with Junseo and Seungho and that's it. I instead insist the show is a step forward for the queer community rather than just a dating show, the more we advocate for it the better.

I will say this season is the most raw season, since everyone knows everyone the conversations becomes really engaging about who they like and who they will pursue. I love the old contestants mostly cause that awkward phase is out so we get more fun convos.

My main ship Hangyeol and Taichi is going steady, no proper date and Hangyeol got kicked out of his room but hey, they both seemed to really like each other.

The Minseong situation im kinda iffy, that date went awol and Taichi was tryna doing his best during it. Maybe he's just not good with a trio date but he really wasn't trying that hard.

Man im so conflicted with Hyeongjun and Jaeha. Jaeha hasn't moved on yet while Hyeongjun listed Jaeha as the person he's least drawn to. I admire Jaeha for apologizing and still wanting to be with him but I also feel Jaeha should move on as the damage is done and can't be repaired.

I'm getting Changmin flashbacks with so many people pouncing on Hangyeol but I feel so assured he's like hyper focused on Taichi. His date with Hyeokjin and Hyunjun was damn funny, cause wdym his favorability for Hyunjun increased and vice versa instead of Hyeokjin. Its giving mission failed successfully .

I dont see what yall see with Hyunjun and Yunjae right now, I like the idea of them but Yunjae got better chemistry with Sumin and Jaeha at this point. Maybe if they showed the convo between Hyunjun and Yunjae, I would be more convinced but man, I'm just riding on hopes and dreams for this ship.

Crack ships mentions, Sumin and Sunwook, I like the concept of them and I think they fit well. Yunjae and Jaeha, I think their personalities matched really well.

Season 4 being a reshoot isn't as bad as some people say as I just treat it like season 4 part 2 lol.Plus, we see them actually trying to fix their original mistakes and keep pursuing love so thats nice. I rather have a new season 4 than a poorly edited season 4 with them trying to remove the problematic cast.

That being said, I pray for Taichi and Hangyeol for endgame, they are adorable and I died seeing Hangyeol all giggly getting the call from Taichi. I do hope their feelings wont waver but that's the whole point of a dating show.

Jaeha situation made me so sad, cause even though it is undeniably a selfish move of him to break up to be in the reshoot again. I relate to him so badly, I also want to just come clean with my sexuality but Im too scared like him. What he did was still selfish but he isn't a bad guy for doing it in my opinion/

I need to see a date between Hyunjun and Yunjae cause man that shit was awkward to watch. They got a halal gap between them and Im dying seeing it. They need to talk or do an activity, just do something ffs.

This season is such a visual tea, I would date alot of them HAHHAHAA. My ideal man would be Hangyeol also not gonna lie, he's like the huwei of His man for me. But huwei is still surperior HAHAHAH

Saw the hype for the series and decided to give it a watch and finish all currently 6 episodes.
My general consensus is that if you enjoy a classic feel-good BL with JP style acting, you will love this drama.

It has a great shots, excellent actors and amazing scenes. The plot is simple and easy to understand, Hioki joins a group of friends and get close to Watarai and Watarai has very obvious feelings for Hioki and thus their shenanigans begins. There's plentiful of cute and heart fluttering moments, and watarai is such an eye candy for me.

However, I don't recommend this drama if you want something with more depth as this drama is riddled full with classic BL tropes. I could guess what was going to happen in each scene and can probably figure major upcoming plotlines. It is not bad just a difference in taste as this drama is like eating an indulgent chocolate cake, its sweet and is amazing. To me, I'm not to keen when the MC feels like a self-insert which is kinda insane for a BL drama but Hioki gives that vibe.

All in all, amazing drama for classic BL lovers but don't watch if you can't stand the shitton of BL tropes in this drama.

Hi, ive been protecting this Bl for the past 5 weeks, and I gotta say. Dawg I can't say much to protect it anymore. The only positives I can give is:

- Realistic portrayal of queer issues
- Great acting
- Production value feels premium with longer showtimes compared to past KBL (I can't remember if was LITBC longer or shorter or around the same)

yeah thats kinda all the positive I good. I love the cast tho, Slay Ahn Jinho

Forgot to give my review for this week episode but skipping past the BLOODY TENNIS SCENE ENOUGH!

I love it! It's super cute, Seungwon is my spirit animal. The carrot juice girl is a diva for just letting Heesu go, because she likes him alot but also wants him to be happy and she realises Seungwon could potentially be the one for him <33333. Heesu is also super adorable in this episode, An Jinho really got that Heesu vibe in him with his goofy ah smiles and vibes, him being jealous of Jiyu was just comedy gold to me. Although my only critique would be if they could done this in just 1 less episode, so episode 8-9 could've been focused on the confession and the build up to it while ep 10 could have been the exposition and showcase the aftermath of everything but so far it's fine.

Heesu's reaction to everything seem very genuine. Even though he accepted his feelings for Chanyoung, but he's been in love for him for so long that the moment new feelings starts to rise, its an enigma for him even he is unsure what those feelings were which to conflict with Jiyu. I do sometimes have a grip with how easily some characters just move on and accept their magical new feelings like its second nature

Again I just love this version of Heesu, mostly cause he feels more fleshed out and feel realistic as a gay teenager. Some might prefer escapism style shows but sometimes this style of confusion is also fun because its personally relatable. Do I have issues with the drama? Yes! But I still also should give credit where credit is due (I'm so in love with the whole astronomy thing, now I want a bf that has this kind of passion lol)

Contrary to others peoples comment, I found this episode still quite enjoyable, better than the hell hole that…
Adding on a bit, just saying that yall are completely valid to not like this drama btw as its very different. Im just giving my perspective on what its actually trying to achieve but somewhat failing due to them also being confused on how to manage the plot line. Im just here cause I love Heesu and Seungwon and that Heesu was just peak me behaviour lol.

Contrary to others peoples comment, I found this episode still quite enjoyable, better than the hell hole that was episode. Now, I think I can safely assume what this drama is actually trying to do, I think if I remove the HIC2 from this drama, what I get is a rather coming of age, queer romance rather than your traditional BL. Now, I understand why lots of you angry as many of you are like me and expected it to be a Manhwa Adaptation and waited for years like me especially with it using the name and characters of HIC2 but I see it trying to be another story instead.

What is this story actually about?
This story is less focused on creating lovely moments of Heesu and Seungwon but rather exploring the themes of LGBTQ+ and what it means to learn that you are apart of it. Heesu was shown to struggle with this feelings and often feels uncomfortable with the fact that he likes ChanYoung. He knew he liked Chanyoung but he knew that he can never tell him even though he wants to as he's scared of being different. In the manhwa, well those feelings are more downplayed, Heesu was shown to accept his feelings for Seungwon rather quickly but in the drama it feels more realistic, even with Seungwon being cute and all, he cant see past it as ChanYoung had been the centre of his orbit for so long. Heesu is the manifestation of the many struggle gay teens have, learning to accept yourself in a society filled with prejudice and the fear of standing out that comes it. We explore Heesu's fear and anxiety throughout this drama through the metaphors given based on astronomy which is wonderfully done and come to understand why he behaves like so.

Seungwon on the other hand is the antithesis towards Heesu's ideologies, growing up in an environment that is open minded, he embraced his feelings towards Heesu and acted on it though in a very shy manner. Seungwon is also on the spectrum many gay teens relate to, the "I wanna try and flirt but I dont wanna look gay" area, maybe I'm just projecting onto this one lol. Seungwon is meant to help Heesu be more comfortable with accepting who he is and give him the opportunity to move
on. Seungwon will help Heesu instead of rotating in someone orbit, he'll be the centre of Seungwon's orbit, the one that Seungwon cherishes the most.

Jiyu also plays an important role in this story, she's meant to represent what it means to be an ally, to have an indifferent opinion and the role of having someone supportive in your life. Even though,
Jiyu is straight presumably (Pls be bi my Queen) she sees Seungwon crush as nothing more than a crush and helps him out. She's able to push Seungwon into the right direction allowing him to become more close to Heesu just like what we see in the heteronormative society but now for a gay crush. A lot of BLs tend to lack a good supporting female characters as most are just love stories. a good example I can give is Hashimoto from My Love Mix Up (A better coming of age Queer story), she's very funny and supports Aoki journey in confessing while also struggling herself.

Im not gonna talk about ChanYoung as he's just a plot device lol, they stripped him of all of his good features from the manhwa, Im gonna murder this bitch in cold blood.

Before I end this review, I want to highlight a scene from today, as the news reported said "Shooting stars can be viewed from a dark and open space" as Heesu and Seungwon views the shooting stars passing by. I think that line is nice as though they are both in the dark, with their feelings scared to come out, they are comfortable with each other and in there, they can see the bright stars akin to their feelings, shining bright. Who knows, maybe that open space is where they can foster their feelings better <3

(Sorry if I got some words wrong, still practicing ze english)

I turned a 40 minute episode into 2 hours because how much I enjoyed it.
I think this episode so far is the best episode we've gotten, we saw alot of character and plot development happening which I felt was super lacking in the past 2 episodes, though it might have to build up this episode. I really dont think we need 2 depressing episodes to get 1 happy. Nevertheless, there were so many good things to unpack this episode.

1. Jiyu
Early on, I reviewed her character as bland, who seems just not like the other girls. However, Jiyu has now become a character I really like. She's bold and she's very supportive. She didn't hesitate to speak her mind against CY but also was very supporting towards SW even if she likes to tease him a bit. We see Jiyu as someone that knows what she wants and is very open minded. Her only mistake is asking CY to go to theme park. Queen deserves so much better than him

2. ChanYoung
On that note, ChanYoung in this episode was insufferable for me. He lashed out to the girl due to his own issues and could not even apologize. Not to mention the creepy behaviour of his to somewhat like stalk her? Like dude, just apologize, you have her IG and number?? Some people said he's a bad friend to Heesu, to be honest its a them issue due to their friendship dynamic always being like that. Im glad Heesu decided to began distancing himself, this should help their friendship to recover better now that Heesu is less obsessed

3. Seungwon
BABBYYYYYYYYYYY. Seungwon was just the most adorable person throughout the whole episode. Some of the highlights for me was him picking out clothes, noticing Heesu liked original and so got him a whole ass new bucket, eating breakfast with Heesu's familly. Personally, what I also like was being able to see Seungwon being more bold in this episode. Many times he conveyed his thoughts directly to Heesu like saying he wore this clothes for him, asking what Heesu liked, protecting Heesu against the stalker. We can see Seungwon being even more aggressive in this episode and I think it was a such a cute thing to see. Adjacent, but im so happy they kept his moms, it's very important as it symbolizes Heesu learning to be more comfortable with his sexuality

4. Heesu
My boy. Heesu in this episode also had significant development even if it was hidden with the constant attempts at trying to set SW up with Jiyu. The biggest development was realising he could live a life without Chanyoung, without always having Chanyoung in his mind and that he could move on. This piece of characterisation highlights also the importance of SW in the story as Heesu realizes that SW made him feel comfortable, as if his sexuality wasn't important and the node of being different was insignificant with him around. As a gay guy myself, learning to accept yourself is the hardest and I enjoy seeing Heesu trying to realize that it isn't smth bad or to be ashamed of as I relate to him having to tiptoe against everyone huhu

Overall such a great episode, now lets hope I get as happy as I am for tommorow

Watched the new episode, I see alot of comments on CY . CY didn't have that much screentime but rather how that screentime was used actually. Heesu still get the majority of it but there's lack of development for most of the screentime and same goes with Seungwon. Heesu and Seungwon barely had any progress going for them between Ep 3 and Ep 4 making how we perceived their screentime as short and unmeaningful. While I do agree the CY and JY has gotten more screentime compared to Ep1 and Ep 2, their screentime has been meaningful as we see significant progress from them being strangers to being friends and even slowly developing feelings yet with Heesu and SW, it felt like a slowly moving rock. Not to mention the lack of a proper date scene which I think would've helped create a more strong connection to the viewers about where they currently are.

I can totally relate to all 3 MLs actions here in Ep 3.I hope Heesu wakes up and realise his best friend is just…
I don't like Heesu's action because it looks like me, I relate to him too much with chasing a straight friend even though I definitely know he aint into me. I hope that Heesu notices the eyes of SW, looking at him with affection cause hell I got no guys doing that to me at school.

Ngl, I like the way they changed this direction in the drama, making Jiyu and Chan Young a couple will lead Heesu…
Yeah this time its more even out they went 50/50 with the screentime and most screentime of SW and Heesu is just Heesu tryna set him up.

I think the change is interesting but also odd. They definitely removing some of the sunshine and rainbows in the manhwa where everything is happy (except season 2). Maybe due to this new change, SW has to confess he's the true carrot juice giver?

I'm glad we are being united today to call Heesu out, in the manhwa no one gonna address it how "smartfully tricky"…
tbf in the Manhwa, Heesu's obsession was less clear but this one is full throttle, bro is dying to get rid of Jiyu through Seungwon

Whoah what an episode, this is definitely straying far from the source of material. We definitely see some more things that wasnt seen in the manhwa like how obsessed Heesu was towards ChanYoung, in the manhwa we do see it a bit but not this extent. also SeungWon struggles way more in adaptation compared to the manhwa due to how obsessed Heesu is (Although early manhwa Heesu would still abandon Chanyoung). Jiyu is somewhat okay, Chanyoung is somewhat okay. they really need to flesh them out more because its just ep2 part 2 for this two. NGL I am unsure how SeungWon is gonna win over Heesu at this rate but im definitely seated

Controversy regarding second pair aside, why didn't they made them more interesting? I mean, you can see why would…
I find your analysis very interesting so imma give my 2 cents

For ChanYeong I think they're gonna go where the manhwa skip past and we learn a bit more about him. When reading the manhwa you realize that ChanYeong has some sort of issues which they introduced early on but idk I guess they decided to just scrap it and focus on Heesu . This could make ChanYeong more interesting but they also made ChanYeong WAY more flirty in the adaptation which confuses the hell out of me the first time (I mean I kinda like it)

For Jiyu, they definitely rewrote her whole character. We know even less about her than ChanYeong in the manhwa, all we knew was she was Seungwon close friend and some things that are spoilers. For now 2 episodes definitely isn't enough for me to understand her character yet understand than shes not like other girls. I'm fine with ChanYeong with the way he is but they gotta make Jiyu interesting for this to work.

To me they added them as a couple not really to replace the gay couple but to idk try to be mainstream with the whole 2 couple thing without bashing 2 seasons together. It would explain why they are undeveloped. I still have high hopes for this adaptation as Seungwon and Heesu are still lovely
