I'm going to wait for the actual romance to start before giving my opinion on the chemistry. For now, I don't really see much chemistry between the main couple either, but I think my view is being affected by the top/bottom dynamic from DMD , one playing the stoic man and the other constantly needing to be saved. When it comes to chemistry, unlike some people, I don't think it has anything to do with NC scenes. A good example is Sky and Nani from GMMTV, who did that high school frenemy bromance they had tons of chemistry without even sharing a single kiss.

DMD apparently sticks closely to that annoying BL cliché actors like Max, Zee, Thomas, and Keng always play the 'top' roles, and they follow the usual script: stoic, emotionless macho guys. Meanwhile, actors like Nunnew, Nat, Namping, and Kong are stuck playing the same dumb 'damsel in distress' role, needing to be rescued every five minutes because they play the 'bottoms'. But what do top and bottom have to do with acting, anyway? Nothing. It's just a tired BL trope. After all, that's something that only concerns real-life gay couples, not fictional characters.

I don't know why they insist on this ex-boyfriend coming back plot, it has zero impact because everyone knows that these ships are fixed in Thailand.
