If the protagonist were the Barcode´s character, I would like it more. I find the main couple lacking in substance, besides spending 100% of their time together, which takes away from the viewer's expectations.

And it's not even that difficult. Vampire series, I watched Vampire Diaries, True Blood, among others, in their entirety.
