I had a similar response. Their actual age is completely irrelevant to me - its the age they appear to be and…
An interesting perspective, because for me, the choice of characters/actors seemed perfect. In my mind, You was a grown man, knowing who he was and what he wanted, and aged between 30 and 40. His "delicacy and femininity" further emphasized this. Both women and men fell in love with him. Fan Xiao, on the other hand, judging by his lack of romantic and sexual experience, was definitely younger but more powerful in business and financial resources, as well as athletic in stature, than You. Excellent choice of actors.
I just can’t into this show because I’m not really a fan of the appeal of the couple together it’s just…
Oh my God, even if he were 35, that's a wonderful age, and there's nothing stopping him from having a lover 10 years younger than him, because they're both adults. Besides, I don't think he's 35... And as for plastic surgery, it's practically a necessity in Asian countries. Even as a birthday present, at 16, your "parents" give you a nose job or breast augmentation. So, to be accepted or successful, you unfortunately have to conform to Asian standards of beauty... a sad but true reality. Incidentally, the same applies to Korean idols, for example; few are "naturally beautiful."
The ending was truly like hitting the jackpot or winning a million dollars in the lottery—simply perfect. I don't know if I need to add more, because the whole thing was about lies and intrigue, and the question was specific, and the answer was too. That scene advertising "chewing gum" ( LOL) was just the icing on the cake. Ultimately, the two fall madly in love, but the way Fan Xiao did it was unacceptable, but the guy simply didn't know any better. A truly beautiful and brilliantly made series. I love it and will definitely return to it.
P.S. After reading the comments on other posts and the resulting war, I'd like to point out (I don't know, but I have a feeling I'm the only one who noticed) that there was no mention of any sexual exploitation or abuse. You Shu Lang not only agreed to a sexual arrangement (from which he undoubtedly profited), but even transformed himself from TOP to BOTTOM for Fan Xiau... voluntarily!!!!!
I like the series, I really do, and Thee is so pleasantly in love... he's sweet, but I don't feel like Peach is in love with Thee at all. I don't understand this character's behavior at all, nor the fact that he's in a relationship with Thee yet simultaneously resists it and his closeness to him. I thought that at the beginning of a new romance the love is intense, full of a need for closeness, being together, and so on, but I don't feel at all with Peach.....
PS. looking at the mile long explanations and whatnot in the comments, I'm assuming I must've hit a nerve with my comment.
How many times do you have to come here to say that phuwin is not a good actor. Damn girl. Every weeek you say…
I didn't realize you were following my comments so closely, sick girl! The fact that I'm talking about Phuwin is related to the fact that, oh my, he plays the main role in this series... weird, right? When discussing each episode, I can't avoid the fact that PP are the heroes of this series, so why does it surprise you so much? And who else would I be talking about if not him? Besides, that language thing is just an example of what PP fans do to X. They, not me, are interested in how and whether Phuwin can kiss or not... I'm just sharing this interesting fact. Besides, tone it down a bit, you don't have to offend anyone... I understand that Phuwin's beauty blinds your objective assessment, but you don't have to offend anyone, especially since my comment wasn't addressed specifically to you because I didn't even know about your existence.
Okay, I agree that this is the best series with Pond Phuwin as the main character. Pond is a really good actor, and in this case, this role as Khun Thee suits him perfectly and showcases his comedic and dramatic talents. As for Phuwin (I know I’m going to get a tsunami of hate for this), aside from being really handsome, I don’t think he’s a talented actor because he’s been essentially playing the same role for three series. His characters are exactly the same, as if he had nothing more to offer. Furthermore, Pond Phuwin have been working together as a BL ship for several years now, and I think it’s high time that Phuwin, through the use of bonbons or something else, finally learned how to kiss or „get over” his repulsion or shyness and went in wholeheartedly into kissing scenes with Pond. I know there were cheers of delight and satisfaction on X because some viewers of the series thought that Phuwin finally used his tongue in the kiss, or more precisely, put his tongue in Pond’s mouth, but that’s not true. Someone brightened and sharpened the image and slowed down the scene, and it turned out that what appeared to be a tongue were actually Phuwin’s teeth. I don’t know what to make of this, but even younger BL couple can break the barrier of embarrassment and actually kiss their on-screen partner. But getting back to the series, it’s truly entertaining, and at times tender and sensitive, and to put it simply, I actually like it.
William and Est have incredible chemistry; they don't have to do much; just looking at each other and sparks fly. Pond, on the other hand, is a great actor; it turns out this role was "written for him". However, Phuwin is the weakest link in this series, both in terms of acting and kissing. Why can't he do it properly, like a real kiss?
Overall, the series is funny, a little sad, and a little absurd... it's a fun watch.
I don't know, but after the third episode, something happened and the series lost its value. Minato may be handsome, but he's a damned unbearable guy, and I'm really surprised that Shizuma keeps giving in to him and fighting for him like there was no one else. The series has generally lost interest in me, and the plot has become a bit naive and contrived. I also don't feel any chemistry between the main couple and the supporting pair, not to mention the characters. It's a shame; the series had the potential to be fantastic... unfortunately, it's become boring and naive. Minato doesn't act like a truly traumatized man at all, but like someone who deviously uses other people to satisfy their physical and mental needs... neee... this isn't my kind of show. Sorry.
Interesting insights. Can you tell me what is going to happen next especially for Van Farm couple. I think their…
I haven't read the manga and I'm not 100% sure what will happen, but having watched several series directed by PNew, I suspect Van will suddenly change, like a bolt from the blue, and V and F will end up together as a couple deeply in love. This is a YouTube GMM production, and I can't imagine any other ending.
I'm starting to think this whole story, both with the main couple and the supporting ones, is too silly.
Jinn is 20 years old and in a new relationship with someone he's always loved, so he should be happy and focused on his love, but no... he's acting like a spoiled little boy and won't let his mom be happy either, instead dwelling on his resentment towards his father from when he was a little kid. I understand he doesn't want contact with his father, but why can't his mom have it if it's clear he really wants it?
As for the Van/Farm couple, it's just a twisted story that goes a bit too far; what happened to that sweet couple they were at the beginning? Suddenly, being boyfriends has changed their behavior towards each other 180 degrees, and for the worse and definitely unacceptable. I actually liked the idea of the series, but the constant accidents, car hits, etc., are starting to become ridiculous, and the whole story loses its seriousness for me.
Well, I know what happens next, but since Pnew is the director, anything is possible. The guy simply has a penchant for complicated and somewhat pointless narratives.
A typical Pond Phuwin kiss. Pursed lips and a zoomed-out camera, but the series gets better with each episode. Please don't spoil it with kissing scenes or anything similar. That's not PP'/Phuwin s strength.
Can someone explain to me what this show is actually about? Is it some terribly emotionally entangled drama stemming from what? Probably just delusions, past traumas, or the terrible nature of the main character (Seo Jeong). To be honest, I don't understand any of this, and I don't understand Lee's actions either, because if I were him, I would have slammed the door a long time ago and never looked back. Not only does Seo Jeong look intimidating in that "hairstyle with mane over the eyes, aka the pot on the head," but it's also a red flag !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
But I'll keep watching, maybe something will become clear...
What happened to this series? Was the director replaced after the first three episodes?
The series started out so interesting...
The last two episodes are boring, the pacing is lacking, and it's as if the narrative and acting suddenly became dilettantish and naive. It's a real shame because I really enjoyed it!
Of course, everything will end well and with a happy ending, but someone ruined this drama, and I wonder who and why??? Heee???
A simply fantastically made series, from start to finish and in every detail! The music, lighting, interiors, mood, costumes – everything is thought out down to the smallest detail. The actors were truly well-chosen for their roles. I like them both very much; besides, they give fantastic performances, which is most important. As for the plot, it's good as it is. Enough of the saccharine and unrealistic dramas! Fang Xiao fell head over heels in love with Shu Lang, and instead of winning him over the "normal" way, he started complicating everything because he didn't believe that love wasn't like dirty deals. I don't know how this story will end, but it's crazy, and I like that. I'm a big fan of Chinese BL series, I admit it!
I'm not convinced Van has any romantic feelings for Farm at all; in my opinion, he doesn't. Van has never been…
That's not how a newly taken boyfriend behaves. He should be happy and in love, but if he's still acting like a Casanova at parties, he's probably forgotten this small, unimportant fact... and isn't in love at all.
Van probably doesn’t know what he wants because deep down, he doesn’t believe he deserves anything good. He’s…
I'm not convinced Van has any romantic feelings for Farm at all; in my opinion, he doesn't. Van has never been with a man; his affairs have always been with women, so I don't know if men are his thing. He just wants to keep Farm around because he feels he has to do something, since it's been too long and there's a chance Farm might want to go her own way. I think Van is fully aware of Farm's feelings for him. So Van has given him what Farm expected or hoped for. I don't know if that's even fair of Van; I think it's like a desperate attempt, a last-ditch effort, to give it his all and shout, "Don't leave me!"
